Hotel Piscul Negru — Hotel in Arefu

Room: I had reservation for room with mountain view. I did not get that. I had a room with view on the back terrace and the food smell from the kitchen was coming in the room when the window was opened.|Bed not confortable. Pillows very hard and thick.||Food and table service: the biggest disappointment! Food not at all like in the menu. The worst was șnițel vienez.|Congelated fries, meat with no taste or very dry and in very small qty.|Breakfast with almost nothing to eat or with leftovers probably from the previous night. (e. g fries). When things like eggs were finished, I didn't see any person to bring more...|The service at the table very very long. For a dinner, we waited 2h and a half in total from the moment we received the menus until they brought us the check. Only 2 waiters, that were completely overcharged.||Location is beautiful, close to Bâlea Lake. Approx 30 min by car, depending on the traffic.||Is not a location to come back. At...

The hotel is approximately 12 km from Balea Lac on D. N. 7c (Transfagarasan).||I booked an apartment with a balcony (medium size), equipped with a double bed, sofa bed, desk, wardrobe, clothes hanger, minibar, 2 LCD TVs, safe, parquet and a bathroom. I would have some objections related to the bathroom, small and with a strong sewer smell. Linen, towels clean and no objections. The cleanliness of the entire hotel is impeccable.||I had reservations with breakfast included (three types of menu) not very consistent but good. The restaurant prices are quite high, the food is good but not very consistent.||The superb landscape, next to the hotel are other pensions and the monastery of St. Prophet Elijah. Hiking and scenery are the most visited place throughout the year.||Relaxation, fresh air is the advantage...

Nice hotel on the one of the most beautiful roads in the world. Pleasant rooms and very good food in the restaurant.

There was a waiter which was exceptionally good. I don't know his name, he was very nice, helpful and perfectly fited his role. He might recocnise us, we were there between 4-6 september, two guys from Poland who drove there by car and asked for mountain climbing and were eating bulz and my friend were drinking ursus. We were also joking with you that you would perfectly fit in the typical luxury french restaurant and you are great in your role. I hope that you will read that and have a smile, stay great bro :D

I will for sure return to that hotel in future and highly reccomend...
