Pensiunea Ghiocelul — Hotel in Avrig

Overall a bad experience. We’ve made reservation for 4 adults and 1 dog. When we got there, we were told by the owner that the dog has to stay on a hallway between the rooms as he is not allowed to stay in bed, even though we told her that if anything will be damaged at the end, will be paid in full. Owner was rude and staff member treated us with superiority and ignorance and even though fruits were included in booking, when I did ask about them, I’ve been told they don’t have any but there is a apple tree in the garden and I can get some from there. We stayed in the “apartment” near the kitchen, which was literally 2 rooms divided by a hallway. Inside was dirty, hallway had a bad smell of sewage, no WiFi inside, only in the garden where food is served. Carpets inside the rooms were dirty, mould in the bathrooms, mattresses were dirty. Not to mention that we paid 630 Romanian leu/ night, which is not cheap. Also we were interested to ride horses, as amateurs, and upon a discussion with the owner, we were told that it is better not to, even though they had an option for amateurs. I made the reservation to take the kids horseback riding - equestrian tourism. I paid in advance, as requested, one night's accommodation for each apartment booked. We also booked horse riding outings with date, time, rider level and number of participants. I requested payment by holiday card and it was accepted.|Arriving at the location in the evening, we found out that the apartments were occupied and we were relocated to another guesthouse. The riding appointments were not real and it was not said that we would see the next day.|We stayed at the new location they sent us to and came back in the morning! We managed to do the riding lessons we had booked that day.|I explained to the owner and he didn't seem to understand what happened.|It was the stay where we were so disrespected that things were getting out of control.|In conclusion: reservations and appointments are indicative! The indifference of the host goes beyond the limits, and the guests suffer!|I recommend avoiding...

We did not sleep at this pension, we have chosen the accommodation at Pensiunea Natura, but we came three times at Pensiunea Ghiocelul: once to have lunch three years ago, which was ok and two times for the horse riding trips. We enjoyed the trips, it is a nice experience to interact with these gorgeous and noble animals and also enjoy time spend in the middle of the nature.|The hat and the things you put on are not clean, they could be cleaned a little bit after each trip, before being uses by the next customer.|Nelutu is quite friendly and he tries to help everyone.|Would recommend it for...
