Pensiunea Viktoria — Hotel in Băile Tușnad

It was a great stay. We recently went there with a group of 40 and it was good. We all had room, since almost the entire hotel was ours. For 125 RON / person / night it was great value. The rooms were clean, the breakfast and dinner was pretty good. Not the best, but good enough. Every room had a TV, a closet and sometimes a nightstand. We also got a voucher for the Thermal Wellness place nearby, which was kinda the "cherry on top". The food was decent but the service was horrible. The waitress didn't bother to clean the table after the previous customers, waited a lot for the food and in the end we were charged with two salads that didn't even show up. When the time came to pay the bill the waitresses just ....vanished into thin air. Waited for around 15 mins for them to show up then started looking for somebody who could actually issue the bill. Nothing fancy but the food is good and pretty cheap and the service is very good. The lady who brought us the food didn't speak very well Romanian but she understood exactly what we wanted. Home made bread + home made sour cream were delicious and the portions are quite big. Just with the first dish we were almost full so the second one we had to leave it in the plate (half of it at least). Don't expect French cuisine and silver spoons just a normal (and very good)...
