Elisabeta — Hotel in Bucharest

When we arrived, we came to the unfortunate conclusion that this isn't a hotel at all. This building consists of apartments. There is no reception, nor anyone that can help you in English. We came across a woman that only spoke Romanian. We didn't have any clue who she was. Apparently we had to call a telephone number. Could it be more impersonal? The woman that answered our call spoke basic English, but was incredibly rude: she disrespectfully cut me off, asked my name twice while raising her voice to me (she didn't understand me the first time due to her bad English) and ended the call without saying anything. She just hung up. The elder Romanian woman gave us the key, but she clearly didn't know what she was doing. She kept on speaking Romanian. How on earth can you call this professional? The room was way too warm. It was 28°C outside, yet all the heating was on. There was no remote control for the airconditioning, so we had to ask the neighbor's remote. There was no information whatsoever. We had to leave for an early flight, but since we couldn't reach anyone, we just left.|This is not a hotel. This isn't a bed and breakfast either. And surely this isn't a hotel. As a matter of fact, we don't know what it is. It feels like we just slept in a room in a private house, without having seen the owners.||There is no parking. You have to park on the street. Furthermore, the neighborhood seemed very unsafe and dirty. Made a booking on airbnb for this place last week for a room for a whole month. When i got here no staff and no instructions or keys left for me. Tried to contact the reception number listed no answer. Tried messaging on airbnb no answer. Waited about 4-5 hours until the cleaning lady showed up. Said she'd check what they have and make a room ready. 30 min later she handed me her phone to talk to the owner who claims that she had not confirmed any airbnb booking/not her listing as they no longer work with them apparently and they had no rooms available either. She advised me to contact airbnb so they could contact her (interesting how even though it's not her listing they're able to contact her to confirm she has no vacancy) so they can start the refund process. Nu recomand! Pe site scrie că check-inul se face la ora 14,noi am ajuns la hotel la ora 17 ca să ne cazăm. Am cautat recepția și nu am găsit pe nimeni. Am sunat de vreo 3 ori la numărul de telefon de pe site-ul travel minit și nu a răspuns așa că m-am dus pe scări să caut pe cineva. Am găsit într-o camera deschisa "camerista" care făcea curat acolo. Mi s-a spus să sun la numărul de telefon afișat pe o foaie pe care scria "Recepție". (deci "hotelul" nu are recepție, vorbești doar cu camerista și prin telefon cu "managerul") A sunat înapoi managerul și mi-a spus că ne va îndruma camerista către locul nostru de cazare. Vine camerista afară și spune că apartamentul nostru nu e gata și sa mai stam jumătate de oră. Dacă nu aveam deja achitată camera cu tichetele de vacanță plecam în secunda 2. Învățătură de minte să nu mai plătesc înainte de a vedea locația. Zona în care e amplasat "hotelul" e dubioasă. Vecinii ascultă manele până seara târziu, trecut peste ora 22. Urla pe strada ca la ghetou. Deci dacă vrei să te odihnești după o zi încărcată nu ai să reușești. Parcarea e mică, trebuie să faci multe manevre ca să parchezi cum trebuie. Mai sunt vreo 5-6 parcări în afara curții hotelului, dar stai cu sufletul la gura ca dubioșii din zonă să nu-ți facă o supriză. În cameră curățenie superficială, jeg prin colțuri, în baie la fel. Pereți umflați de umezeală. Mucegai în baie, în camere jos și în spatele dulapurilor. În baie se vede că a fost inundație. Dezamăgitor, nu îți vine să faci duș acolo. Imaginile de pe site iau ochii, dar când vezi în realitate îți vine să fugi. Dezorganizare în legătură cu preluatul clienților. Gongi prin cameră. Lipsă bucătărie, în schimb ai în cameră mese și scaune, un frigider mic, un TV și aer condiționat.
