The conduct displayed by a member of your front desk staff on the evening of 4 August 2025, at approximately 18:00, was wholly unprofessional and, frankly, unacceptable. The gentleman in question exhibited a severe lack of professional decorum and, most disturbingly, made inappropriate remarks concerning Romanian nationals living abroad.||It is particularly ironic, and troubling, that such behaviour would occur in a hotel that markets itself under the name “INTER Business” and proudly displays multiple national flags, a display presumably intended to suggest openness and international hospitality.||While I acknowledge that a miscommunication may have occurred during our interaction, an unfortunate but understandable circumstance, the manner in which the receptionist addressed my mother in the aftermath of this confusion was deeply inappropriate. The fact that we speak Romanian and live abroad appeared to influence his treatment of us, which is entirely unacceptable in any setting, let alone one purporting to cater to international business travellers.||Following the disrespectful language and tone used towards my mother, the situation escalated into a serious verbal confrontation. My father, quite understandably, could not accept such behaviour directed at his wife, particularly not from a hotel employee. That this incident was allowed to escalate in such a manner is not only unprofessional, but frankly disgraceful for an establishment that positions itself as a business-class hotel.||We were explicitly told to “look elsewhere, on the street,” simply because we queried a discrepancy between the rate displayed on Booking.com and the rate quoted at the desk. Instead of offering a professional explanation or clarification, the staff member responded dismissively and suggested, without provocation, that we were accusing him of theft, an accusation we never made. We merely asked for clarification, which any competent professional should be prepared to provide without hostility or assumption.||The communication style we encountered was not only unprofessional, but also inappropriate for any hospitality setting, especially one claiming to serve a business clientele. Comportamentul unui membru al personalului de la recepție, în seara zilei de 4 august 2025, în jurul orei 18:00, a fost complet lipsit de profesionalism și, sincer, inacceptabil. Faptul că vorbim limba română și trăim în străinătate pare să fi influențat negativ atitudinea sa față de noi, ceea ce este complet inacceptabil, cu atât mai mult într-o locație destinată călătorilor de afaceri internaționali.||După limbajul și tonul lipsit de respect adresat mamei mele, situația a degenerat într-o confruntare verbală serioasă. Tatăl meu, în mod firesc, nu a putut accepta un astfel de comportament față de soția sa, cu atât mai puțin din partea unui angajat al hotelului. Faptul că acest incident a fost permis să escaladeze în asemenea mod este nu doar neprofesional, ci pur și simplu rușinos pentru un hotel care se poziționează ca unitate de afaceri.||Ni s-a spus în mod direct să “căutăm în altă parte, pe stradă”, doar pentru că am întrebat despre o discrepanță între tariful afișat pe Booking.com și cel menționat la recepție. În loc să ofere o explicație clară și profesionistă, angajatul a răspuns într-un mod arogant și a sugerat, fără niciun motiv, că îl acuzăm de furt, o acuzație pe care nu am făcut-o niciodată. Am cerut pur și simplu o clarificare, lucru pe care orice profesionist competent ar trebui să îl poată oferi fără ostilitate sau presupuneri.||Modul de comunicare pe care l-am întâlnit a fost nu doar lipsit de profesionalism, ci și complet nepotrivit pentru orice locație din domeniul ospitalității, cu atât mai mult pentru una care pretinde că deservește clienți din mediul de afaceri. The staff didn't speak English and they weren't even trying to understand,or translate, which i find pretty unprofessional, since speaking English is a basic human skill at this point. But that didn't bother me that much, i know thay now not everyone is capable of learning. What did bother me was that the staff was mean, cold, rude extremely unhelpful and overall I don't understand who hired these people and how do they still work in costumer services.
The food was not good either. Everything that was available at breakfast (bread, croissants, cake etc.) was dry and didn't taste like normal food.
It was also pretty unhygienic: the staff that was cleaning the tables after breakfast would throw all the crumbs directly on the floor (in front of all the guests too, like at least wait until we leave) The rooms weren't cleaned properly either. There were bird feces on the windows and they wouldn't change the towels after they were being used. It also didn't provide basic things that are supposed to exist in a hotel, for instance: -toothpaste -shampoo -WATER (?) do you want me to be dehydrated or what? -slippers
Save your money, do yourself a favor and go to a better hotel, everyone deserves better that whatever this...
Read moreThe staff was somewhat unfriendly for the most part and they tried to charge us for a broken telephone that we didn't even break, acting like we didn't inform them about it, when we absolutely did, almost immediately. They're liars and manipulative. They were willing to charge us for every little thing we did, we were terrified to visit our friend's room because they were claiming that we made too much noise. I'm not denying that there weren't noisy residents but not all of us were like that. The cleaning ladies were really kind and the ladies in the kitchen as well. However the food was mostly flavorless and bland. The decoration was tacky and awful in general. The hotel isn't close to the center but the city is so pretty so I don't mind it.
