High level service, reasonable prices. Rooms are bigger than average, clean, maintained. The mattresses and pillows are comfortable and spotless clean. Air conditioning works and can be set to quiet, but is slow to bring down the temperature, if it ever reaches the set one. Liveable. Noise from the road can be heard in the front rooms we got, but can be slept by.
Our rooms each had a covered terrace with seats, table, ashtray. No smoking in the rooms.
The shower is no frills, but clean, modern and maintained, the water is plenty, pressure is good, hot water is indeed hot, shower cabin has glass walls and is reasonably spacious. Wall-mounted liquid soap dispenser for the sink and the shower, two towels+floor towel. TP is thin, but it's thin in almost every hotel. Backup roll is available and resupplied daily by the cleaning lady, if the first one is gone.
The restaurant menu is varied, food is tasty, portions hearty, staff is young, polite and quick. Inside and outside tables are available). Cutlery is solid and high quality. Bread was tasty, although not quite peasant bread. Half-board (breakfast+dinner) is available at time of booking, but I recommend booking with only breakfast, since you'd have to eat three solid courses for dinner in order to get your half-board's worth (about 75 lei extra per dinner, as calculated). The half-board dinner menu is also extensive and tasty, although different from the a la carte menu. The athmosphere is pleasant, quiet classical background music, decent company. No manele of any kind.
Breakfast is also good. Some of it is cold cuts, omelette, boiled hot dog, mini croissants, fruits, yogurt, clear orange juice (in glass pitchers, but doubt that it was freshly squeezed, still very good, not overly sweet), cereal, milk, coffee, tea, vegetables, eggplant spread.
Payment with vacation card (Edenred) is available. Some advance payment is required, also possible by vacation card. Credit card payment is available for the hotel and the restaurant.
Wi-Fi is free and reasonably fast (60Mbps measured), in the rooms we stayed in. External Wi-Fi (at the terrace restaurant tables) is spotty.
Fridge with minibar and safe is in the room.
Parking is available and free, but sometimes the hotel's parking is full (occasional restaurant customers), you'd have to park nearby.
Conclusion: very nice, highly recommended, price/quality ratio...
