There were some nice surprises during this week-end. First of all, instead of a triple room we received an apartment. The rooms are nice, tall (3,5 m I guess), with massive wood furniture (but in good shape), clean and warm. It is a 3 star hotel, so there wasn't air conditioner (that could be an issue during summer). The bathroom is large, with big blurred windows, hair dryier and heater. Weak point of bathroom is the shower cabin which presented leaks (but I never met a hotel shower cabin without leaks). The people are nice and helpful, the prices are low and, the most important, the hotel has a kind of own aqua-park (3 inside pools, 2 jakuzzies, 2 water slides, exit to an outside warm pool, massage). Another weak point is the Wi-Fi: there is no Wi-Fi inside the rooms, just at reception. The restaurant was good, large, with small prices, good food (average dishes) and very fast service. Parking was cheap (about 0,7 Euro/day). My kids were delighted and we...
Read moreThe hotel itself can be seen as a museum. It was build way before 50'. The architecture is impressive. I like that they have indoor thermal pools which are only 1 RON if you sleep inside the hotel. The rooms were quite nice judging by the architecture. Very clean actually. What I didn't liked about this is the breakfast, you can only have 6-8 preordered types of meals, it's not a Swedish buffet.||||A small issue was that although I had a reservation for 3 rooms, their booking system didn't. They were nice enough to give as other rooms.||||During my stay in June 2017, the restaurant was missing 50% or the menu items (not one type of...
Read moreEstablishment is amazing, lots of history. Front desk staff is amazing, fun and helpful. What was really crazy was to assist how the manager of the hotel talked with an upset guest that had a complaint not specifically related to the hotel (loud music outside the hotel and requested a change of room). He started yelling on the hallways at the guest. I don't know and I don't care who was right or wrong, but as a hotel manager, you don't talk like that with your customers. Deplorable. He just seemed like a bully and not a hotel manager that knows how to mitigate a conflict. Bad example for everyone. He doesn't need training, he needs...
