Pensiunea Eden — Hotel in Caransebeș

From the very beginning it was an awful experience. It said on site parking no need to book when we arrived all the area was full of cars and we had to park some distance away this was because of the grounds being used as a local disco bar which was packed. All the doors to the hotel restaurant were locked and no bells or instructions so eventually asked in the garden and some one came and took us through a derelict inner bar and restaurant to the reception. We were shown a room which was ok but it was impossible to have the window open due to the loud noise. We asked about breakfast and dinner and were told it would be in the garden but if we wanted they would set up a table in the restaurant.||we found that the two concerns are now run separately and obviously the hotel and its guests are not regarded as important. Half the lights in the room did not work. No wifi as stated no swimming pool no bar facilities except for the disco bar in the garden. The music went on till after midnight and it was impossible to sleep. When we asked to speak to a manger we were told they were out of town. The best thing about the hotel was leaving after a very poor breakfast in a semi derelict and stripped restaurant with no lighting. I felt sorry for the staff who were obviously left to cope with a very unsatisfactory and badly managed venue. When you see this hotel from outside you are not sure that you’re at the right place, but you can’t judge a book by the cover. Now there’s a reconstruction of restaurant, but just now I can tell that the result will be amazing!!! Part of the Hotel is caffe Nostra, with nice personal. Rooms are large and clean. When you are planing to book a room in this hotel you have to be aware that caffe is open to public+ music. Music is never too loud, so there cannot be any problem to fall asleep. Hotel has beautiful garden, terrace and kid corner to play. Anytime you can come and enjoy drinks and food at Caffe Nostra. Kitchen is separated from the main building so there are no worries about smell or loudness. Food is great, especially pizza, soufflé and of course homemade pancakes. Position of this hotel is just 2 minutes from the city centre..I just can recommend this...

The location is near to city center and it’s a good place and a quiet place to spend one night let’s say.
