ELANIA Resort & Spa — Hotel in Cluj Metropolitan Area

What a wonderful surprise this place was! We attended a spectacular wedding of our friends Ariana and Sergiu at the venue this weekend and spent one night in the hotel as well.

The hotel's design, look and feel resembles the 5 star luxury of the ones in the UAE, with super modern features, super comfortable beds, state of the art materials and technology. The rooms are big, with plenty of natural light and huge windows facing the green forest surrounding the resort. The bathrooms are also large and the floor is warm throughout the year giving a unique feeling. Soap, shower gel and shampoo are premium as well, Cboppard branded and unique Arabian perfume.

The breakfast offers an amazing selection of gourmet foods at the buffet from the local and international cuisine.

The staff at the reception is highly trained and polite, same at the restaurant.

The restaurant of the wedding event stood out with everything - design, space, amenities, staff, lights and even more the food - a delicious variety of super tasty everything. We couldn't find even one meal that was not perfect, thanks to Chef Alin.

We would love to come back soon at this location and add the spa to our already amazing experience.

Our experience at this hotel was good overall, the location is nice, the hotel looked good, and the room was spacious and clean. The breakfast offered a good range of products. Just as a point to be kept in mind for the future to improve customer experience: more attention to detail is needed regarding the amenities in the room, especially since they are presented on the website, in the room description. We noticed that, on the sink in the bathroom, a body lotion container was placed instead of a liquid hand soap container. The shampoo container in the shower was completely empty, while the shower gel container was only half full. The box with cosmetic tissues in the bathroom was almost empty, I only got to use 3-4 tissues. At the same time, the welcome gift and the fruit basket presented on the website for the premium double room that we booked were not offered. If they are no longer offered, they should no longer be part of the room...

Quiet rooms, clean, large balconies with beautiful views (my room was on the corner and had the largest balcony I ever saw) great people and good food. What more can you deserve from a hotel? It is located at approximately 5-6 km from the city centre but you get there in 14 minutes by car during the weekend when there is less traffic and 18-25 minutes, depending on the hour of the day. The location is excellent, the views are impressive and the food is great. They have a chef in the kitchen and I loved eating at the Hotel Restaurant three days in a row. The entire staff was polite but I wish to praise the restaurant staff. Although I was a single person they treated me so nice. I felt spoiled. What can I say? Lovely people and next time I return to Cluj this will be my favourite...
