Gorgeous Villa & Restaurant — Hotel in Cluj Metropolitan Area

The nicest hotel I've ever stayed at in Romania. The attention given to detail was amazing. We got the 2 bedroom apartment or suite and it was sparkling clean. AC worked well, water and coffee in the room. You can tell the owners take great pride in their place. Very high end feel. Well built, and the construction of the place was well done, unlike many places in Romania. We did run into a misunderstanding hence the 4 stars. Not for the misunderstanding, but the way the owners reacted.

I called while on the road to create the reservation. I told the lady on the phone we were two small familys with a total of 3 children. I specifically asked how many spaces for sleeping the apartment had, and it should have been clear that we were not only 2 adults by the questions I asked. But... She understood 2 adults instead of 2 families. So upon our arrival, of course were both like uh-oh... I accept my part of the confusion, misunderstandings happen. But what happened next disappointed me. They immediately wanted to raise the price because there were 5 adults, not 2. But I felt that, we were not using any additional rooms, we were all using the same room we had agreed to reserve on the phone, so we were not using any more of their resources to stay there. So why should it be 100% my responsibility to pay a much higher price. I admit, I shouldn't maybe pushed my point as hard as I did, but what the owner told me is something I would never ever tell any of my guests. (We own a vacation rental) She proceeded to tell me in front of my family that if it weren't for the kids she would never have let us stay and and turned us out on the street. But because of the kids she wouldn't. Wow... Ok... Whatever you say... These types of things have happened to me at our business many times. I never have, and never will never speak to any of my guests in the manner she spoke to us.

In the end, I realized how upset she was and just said go ahead and do whatever you think is correct, and they asked for most of the full price. I paid. Felt bad about the whole thing. And I know how they felt. And they had an amazing location, but I feel the things she said were not...

I've been traveling a lot but this is by far the best place. The owners are extremely nice, the food is very fresh and diverse, the room is very clean and beautifull. Unfortunately didn't get the chance to use the spa but we will surely come back another time and try it. And the best best best thing is that is near the airport. Absolutely love it!! 🔝 So that review was an year ago. Today I am here again with my family cus we have an early flight tomorrow. Because we leave at 04, they prepared us some sandwiches for the morning. The dinner was excelent and A LOT. Clean rooms, you won't see dust not even in low reach places. It's the best place to stay when you need to be near the airport. I wish i could give reviews every time I come here but unfortunately I can't. Thank you,...

Beautiful place well managed great staff.Highly recommended when in Cluj Napoca the stay was like home away from home. Simply beautiful place to stay. The property offers everything that one would wish for, the rooms are lavishly decorated and absolutely spotless. Toilet and shower fairly big and extra spa, Jacuzzi and Sauna are worth every penny. The restaurant offers hot breakfast from variety of eggs and bacon which included in the price, cold cuts and assorted cereals and tea coffee for hot brew. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner from al carte menu to wash it down with beer, wine and spirits. The staff Nicki and lorri are brilliant to make sure your stay as comfortable as possible.
