I have no words to express myself how disgusted I am in regards to this hotel.||We've been staying at the hotel for 3 weeks as we had some business in Cluj and it has been recommended by a colleague (big mistake).||First of all,the rooms are not for a 4* hotel, the furniture is old and kitch, the cleaning lady never changed our bed sheets for all the period (3 weeks), the towels are durty full of brown dots (guess from what), they never cleaned the bathroom nor the bathtub, the robs were never changed as well.||Second, the wifi does not work at the 3rd level at all,I was surprised to see that they have an elevator.||Third of all,the breakfast is not good,no natural juice just a local one and coffee, they serve the same dishes every day.||And the last thing which is the most awful experience I've ever felt: in the last day when we had to checkout I've accidentally forgotten a pair of pants in the bathroom, after realizing this,I've called the receptionist to ask if the cleaning ladies found my pants and asked if i can come after them as I was still around, they said they will check and never called back, I've called the next day again and was told that they did not find ANYTHING. ||In searched everywhere in my luggage for those pants and I am 10000% sure that I left them in the bathroom of the hotel.||So, after all the minuses of the hotel they also took my pants!!!!!||I will never recommend this hotel to anyone please stay...
Read moreMy stay in Cluj got longer than initially planned, so I had to look quickly for something to have a few quiet days. I've found this hotel as a last minute solution, offering a discount for one of the suites. I am familiar with the city so I knew exactly where the hotel was - not too close to the city centre but still in the city.||The suite was surprisingly large, a corner unit (#210) comprised of a hall/dining area with a table and a spacious bedroom with two armchairs.||When I entered, the room had a heavy scent of some air freshener(?) - like a cheap eau de cologne. Being allergic to fragrances, I requested that the maids stop using it in my room. Well, it didn't get much better: my allergies were fine but the place started to stink. Most likely, the sewage gases were not blocked in the drain system. The stink was coming from the bathroom.|Upon leaving, when asked whether the room was OK or not, I mentioned this at the reception. They seemed to be aware of it, so it must be going on for a while. Maybe it is the result of taking shortcuts in design or in the construction...
Read moreOne of the worst experiences in terms of what calls itself a 4 star hotel.
The room quality is mediocre at best: there are stains on the wall, initials scratched into the table with what seems like a knife, the glasses were sticking to the table, the wardrobe had a hole in it, the electrical outlet seems like it will endanger your life (use with caution), the hairdryer was filthy to say the least, the bathtub had dust in it and the so called air-conditioning was yellow, perhaps from the 90s, with brown stains across the air pipes resembling excrements. Also there was an openly accesible construction site in the adjacent rooms, construction materials in the hallway and dirty shoes inside the rooms and bathrooms.
The receptionist and the owner declined issuing a refund, offering a different room with the same mediocre-at-best quality, to which we've seen (big time waste).
Unfortunately I am unable to tell how they have a 4 star rating, hopefully that will be re-evaluated soon and a more accurate rating would be issued in the...
