Hotel Union Eforie Nord — Hotel in Constanta Metropolitan Area

I was able to check in pretty quickly, the interior of the hotel was looking good, there are 2 elevators with an external view (I'm mentioning this because from what I read, in the past there wasn't any elevator).

Disliked · First and foremost, the night was kind of awful, very noisy, not sure what engine or air conditioning is outside but I had a very hard time sleeping and I'm not sleeping to hard usually (the view was in the back yard). In the bathroom, you can easily see some small wholes between tiles, it would worth closing them with some cement to prevent things lurking around, luckily wasn't the case. The room is not that spacious for the money to be honest, we took the cheapest one which to be frank want cheap at all for the service, not that expensive taking into account that we had deck chairs, breakfast (not that divers though) and parking which is.. Well if you can find a free spot, well good, otherwise, bad luck. The staff wasn't that kind, a bit in a hurry, actually I asked the waitress to take the order for the rest of the persons at my table and to let me for later since I couldn't prepare myself because I was occupied with my child and she was a bit nervous and she told me that she needs to take to whole order, not like that and left and came later.. never heard something like that, but anyways, house...

Great concept, poor implementation!

Had dinner here. Nice service from hostess at the entrance...on sidewalk. Lots of waiters with no skills. I had to change the table because there was a “gentleman” smoking. Although it is an outdoor terrace, it should be smoking and non smoking area. Prices are quite high for what you get. My wife requested that the salad to be “onion less” and they just removed the onion but the salad still had the smell. Usually this happens when the chef makes the salads before service time. Lava cake was a brownie with chocolate topping... I requested a slice of Union cake( supposed to be a home made chocolate cake, and I received a home made with cheap ready made sponge cake base bought from Penny with a cream made from premixed Dr. Oetker) Kids had chicken fingers with kind of mashed potato.... crushed boiled potatoes with no taste...

All this experience was 2 adults and one kid = 250 lei for 2 Greek salads, 2 chicken griled ( actually fried on a pan) 1 portion chicken fingers with mash, 2 deserts, one drought beer, 2 liquor and one small btl of water.
