The hotel is very poor in all aspects. The breakfast was served in untidy pavillon outside the hotel (dirty windows, tables, chairs, floor...) The staff there consists of one guy who smokes cigatettes there and watches tv during the breakfast is served. For coffee or tea (and any other products that is still missing, e.g. bread, cheese) you have every time to ask the „waiter” (to pour you the water or bring other products, at least he serves what you ask for - except from scrambled eggs without the suspicious ham they offer). For the first three days there were plastic cups for cofee/ tea, but then finally they offered the regular ones (ceramic). Not very much of a 3star hotel. Everything in the dining area does seem to be pretty dirty and sticky. (Thank god) we had only breakfasts included so we have no idea about the dinners, etc. When it comes to the reception, ladies were nice. When it comes to the furnishing and the stuff - the entire floor (corridors and room) is covered with the disguisting carpet that is probably at least a decade or so without any deeper cleaning. It is covered with the dust and damaged everywhere. And it smells not so nice. Suprisingly the furniture in the room was really nice and rather new. However, the curtains were dusted and smelled. In the entire room there was a smell of damp. I suppose that it is mainly because the bathroom, which was rather clear and new, but with no window and ventilation. We had our window opened all the time and this helped a bit. Although, it was september, so if it was hotter it would not be a solution. The standard of the hotel is a far far far away from the pictures on booking. Probably you can find better options in Eforie Nord for the same or less price. However town itself looks a bit neglected and maybe it is better to choose some...
Read moreThe hotel seemed nice at the begining, friendly staff and a clean room. Unfortunately that's were it ended, we rented 3 rooms, two singles and one double. In one of the single rooms the lightbulb went out and the reception staff gave me a lightbulb and asked if we could replace it because they didn't have anyone available for the job. A latter was necessary to change the lightbulb, and when the guy did come he gave me the light fixture to wash because it had bugs in it (I did wash it) . At the begining if my stay I asked the staff to replace a missing mosquitoes net at the balcony door. Since the bathroom had no ventilation whatsoever, we had to keep the balcony door open to get the humidity out if the room. I asked every day, they kept saying they would and they didn't by the time my stay ended. did not replace the missing window bug net, and they kept telling us they would.
A few other problems arose but the post would be to big. Overall the hotel is clean, unfinished, but the staff lacks professionalism and interest in client services. P. S. It's a seaside hotel and it lacks anything to hang wet bathing suits and towels on, wich is a big...
Read moreThe second worst accommodation we ever had! The moment we entered the room a mouldy damp and feeces smell hit us. Two girls from cleaning services tried to help but pouring some chlorine on the drainage, with no good outcome. We asked the reception to change the room but the hotel was totally booked so that wasn't possible (I wonder if there's someone who's ever coming back to this hotel). Everytime we returned to the room that smell hit us. We noticed that he carpet wasn't vacuumed as the baby had hair, dust and other spectacles on his feet....||The most horrific and dumb thing was the AC vent mounted on the balcony, which had its leaking pipe inside the balcony, where some synthetic grass-like carpet was acting like a disgusting sponge, collecting much of the water from the air conditioning unit... ||After this I read some other reviews on booking sites telling the same story in other words.||To cut the long story short, we're never coming back...
