MBI Travel Inn — Hotel in Craiova Metropolitan Area

I recommend staying there only if you have low to no expectations and most of the time you are out of the room.. And still the overall experience is bad - first there was no one at the reception, then a girl from the restaurant (probably) came to us and said we should call a number and showed us a note written on one of the doors (it was in romanian and we did not speak romanian). The girl did not speak English, but we managed to understand each other somehow with the help of other guests. She then called the number which turned out to be the owner.. We paid and never talked to or saw any of the staff anymore. The room was warm and tidy on first look but then you see the flaws - we had half of the toilet paper roll left - we had to buy the next day, no towels were changed (we were there for 2 nights), there were yellow stains on the sheets and stains of blood and some dirt on the walls in the bathroom and the room itself. The first contact with the hotel was a good one, considering the location, but that's where it all ends. Self check-in is to call a phone number, show your ID to a video camera, you are told a code, you open a box where you use the card from the camera. The card, full of dust. The door to the room is iron and creaks ominously and the door finishes look like forced entry. The room smells of cigarette smoke, the blanket is burned with a cigarette. No two glasses are the same.||The bathroom is dirty. More specifically, the shower, which is full of mold, and on the inside, the bathroom door is full of dust lumps! The toilet bowl and the sink are clean, but there is mold again when the countertop joins the wall.||We didn't have complete sheets, there weren't enough quilts and after we received quilts and sheets, we had to make the bed ourselves! I had to call the maid to do this operation herself.||In essence, I did not have a feeling of safety at all in this hotel, which seemed promiscuous and for this reason, although I rented 2 rooms, I slept with my daughter and my husband in the other room.||I do...

Health warning!! This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. When we wanted to check in, the disinterested receptionist was sitting in the next room on her cell phone. Only when we dialed a number at the counter did a colleague call her to serve us. The room is a complete disgrace. There is a "No Smoking" sign at the entrance, and when you enter the room you are immediately hit by a strong smell of tobacco. The wallpaper was falling off in some places in the room, the headboard was torn. The worst thing, however, is the massive pest infestation. There are cockroaches everywhere, and I mean everywhere. In the shower, in the carpet, in the bed!!!! Do yourself a favor and don't book here. You will regret...
