Pension Cemira Lux — Hotel in Dorna-Arini

This guest house proved to be one of the best we have ever tried in Romania. We were searching for a place where you could feel like home , clean and spacious, with a big garden for my child to play in. But perhaps my greatest fear was the food offerd for my family and especially my 23 months old son. This fear was gone in the moment i got there and spoke to them. This guest house is owned by a wonderful open minded family, they offered to cook whatever was necessary for our child and anything we wished for ourselves , but with such modesty that they always said "we only cook family style- like we cook for ourselves"-this was exactly what we wished for. But please keep in mind that i do not know any family that cooks traditional recipes this good and have so many fresh ingredients. Thank you Mrs Cecilia for the great foods we sampled.|Their attention to details in cooking and everything else was amazing. They tried to have mostly products fresh from the area, from local farmers, their products were top class. | Another great thing was that one of the owners Mr Mihai was so open about showing us the surroundings that he took us on great day or half-day trips in the nearby mountains or to some secluded monasteries. The roades there were forest roades but he had a great off road car and offered to take us great places, he was a great guide and because he grew up there he told and showed us a lot of interesting things. |I cannot recommend enough this guest house. You should just go and see for yourself. I might be a little bit sorry i didn't keep this a secret but these people are doing a great job and I am proud we have such a nice place in our country. |PS: the area is beautiful, i will put some pics attached so you can see...

I stayed at Cemira with my extended family; we ended up getting 5 rooms, of which 4 were apartments. The owner manager, who lives on the property, was very accommodating, and an excellent cook. They have great outdoor sitting, and the property is full of gorgeous flowers outdoors. We had both dinner and breakfast, due to the quality of the food. The apartments were well appointed, easily sleeping 4 people each. Clean bathrooms and rooms. Overall...

Am fost acolo un weekend, când am vorbit la telefon cu doamna, am convenit să luăm toată vila, după două săptămâni ne-a spus că a mai dat 3 camere la niste prieteni. Într-o seară am folosit prosop din hârtie care era pus pe masa în spațiul comun de la partier iar doamna ne-a spus să-l plătim că l-am folosit. Ne-a deschis tv ul sa ne uitam la meci dar a ținut să ne spună că ne face o favoare că ne lasă la tv. Am stat în apartamentul Nr 8, patul foarte tare iar pernele sub orice critică. Doar zona e frumoasa, locația lasă de dorit. Am platit 700( după ce inițial stabilisem un preț mai mic) de lei pentru două nopți și n-am avut nici mic dejun inclus. Piscina e într-un fel de beci dar n-am vrut să o folosim pentru că ne-ar fi costat 900 de lei pe toți și nu era rentabil. Poza este...
