Pensiunea Viodor — Hotel in Dorna-Arini

Plus: The back garden is quite nice - you can go there and relax, there are longe chairs and swinging chairs.||The location was quite convenient for us, because the road towards Gura Haitii (acces to Calimani National Park) starts right there.||It was quiet, and that was a big plus!||Room was clean, although we did find a few small spiders here and there.||||Minus: It is not 4 star accomodation, maybe 3 at most.||Man at the reception was quite cold and was not very friendly upon our arrival. That kind of bumped me out.||There are a lot of kitschy paintings on the wall of the room that should be removed or replaced. Wall design is a big minus.||The place is right on the street, so it's not very isolated or remote.||It was a plus that they served breakfast in the morning, but it's not a buffet, and it was quite expensive.||Found a spider web and a spider in it in the hallway of the room, right at the hall stand. If the cleaning staff had cleaned the room properly, that would not have been there.||||Found a huge spider below the window that you pass by when you climb the stairs leading to the reception too (upon our arrival - which was not the best first impression), so I guess the cleaning staff should pay more attention to detail.||||All in all it wasn't a very cozy place,...

My experience with the manager of this pension was disappointing both from a human and professional point of view.||- 08.08.2019, 3:06 pm - the manager confirmed by phone that he has two rooms available for the period 15-18 August 2019 and asked me to transfer the entire amount to the account he will email me (in general in such business it is not required to advance the whole amount, but I accepted in good faith being)||- 08.08.2018, 15:11 - I sent an email with the data (number of rooms, name, desired period)||- 09.08.2019, 18:38 - I returned by phone and confirmed that he sent me the email with the account details||- 10.08.2019, 17:37 - I sent an SMS with another email address to receive the account data||- 10.08.2019, 17:45 - I receive the long awaited email in which it is sent to me that there is only one available room||||From my point of view you are not a reliable person who does not respect his business and I would not recommend to anyone who wants to travel in that area.||||I am deeply disappointed with the manager's attitude, given that our expectation is that the people in that area are much more customer oriented and are building fairer businesses. That's why I chose to leave Bucharest in that area.||||Disappointing...
