We had 2 double rooms booked over the Easter holiday, it was the first time we stayed there and we were impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms and the facilities available. The rooms had high-quality furniture and the mattress was by far the most comfortable one I've ever experienced in any type of accommodation until now. Everything was very neat and tidy, the bathroom was sparkle-clean, and the room decoration was chic, warm and in a tasteful arrangement. The staff were very friendly and ready to assist at any time, the room was cleaned on a regular basis throughout our stay. Myself and my parents stayed for 3 differents trips at this hotel This year it is the last time will stay here. My father had the room at the end of the building, the room had a problem, stinking as a sewer. They tried to put a product at the bathroom but it was simply unbearable. Everyday I complained, they said it was fixed and they never offered to change him from the room even if the hotel was empty. The owner was not there so I guess when his not around the staff seems just not too interested in keeping up the standards. It is the last time will stay here. It is a petty as the location is good and the rooms are big and beautiful but if they are smelling bad it is just not worth it as this place is quite expensive for a small...

Every time we have the chance (we come from Moldova region) we stop here for lunch. The garden is very serene and the dishes are diversified. The sheep pastrami comes with grilled polenta, garlic sauce and potatoes, huge dish very tasty as they make their own pastrami. The beer butter chicken is also tasty, with home made fries and home made mayonnaise, again large portion. Hard to go anywhere else in Focsani and we would return more often.
