I recently stayed at the Rix Rooms hotel and I must say it was a fantastic experience. The hotel exceeded my expectations in several aspects. Firstly, I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the rooms and the high ceilings. It gave a sense of grandeur and made the stay even more comfortable.
The standout feature of the hotel was definitely the exceptional staff at the reception. They were extremely friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay. Their professionalism and warm hospitality made me feel welcomed throughout my stay.
Another commendable aspect of the hotel was the cleanliness of the rooms. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job in maintaining the rooms, leaving them spotless and tidy every day. This attention to detail made me feel comfortable and at ease during my entire stay.
However, there were a few areas that could be improved. Firstly, the WiFi was not functioning properly during my stay, which was slightly inconveniencing as I rely on it for work and communication. I would suggest the hotel management look into this issue and ensure a stable internet connection for future guests.
Additionally, the water in the shower was quite cool in the evenings, even when set to the maximum hot temperature. It would have been more enjoyable to have hotter water, especially after a long day of exploring the city. I hope the hotel considers improving the water heating system for a more comfortable shower experience.
Furthermore, it's worth noting that the hotel doesn't have an elevator. Although it wasn't a major issue for me, it might be inconvenient for guests with mobility challenges or heavy luggage. Installing an elevator would greatly improve accessibility and convenience for all guests.
Lastly, I would have appreciated having a coffee machine or at least a kettle for making coffee in the room. Having the option to enjoy a hot cup of coffee in the comfort of my room would have added an extra touch to the overall experience.
In conclusion, I had a wonderful stay at Rix Rooms hotel. The spacious rooms with high ceilings, the exceptional reception staff, and the cleanliness of the rooms were all standouts. Despite the minor inconveniences of the WiFi, cool water in the evenings, lack of an elevator, and no coffee machine, I would still highly recommend the hotel for its overall excellent service and comfortable...

What really shocked was the horrible service mentality in the bar which belongs to the hotel. Arrived their during prolongation of Champions League final - and got told that no drink can be served anymore because they were going to close in 10 minutes. As the bar still was full with people, they finally brought me a drink with 20 minutes delay. I had not yet finished it when the waitress girl wanted to take the glass away... And at the beginning of penalties between Real and Atlético they finally kicked me out. Something like this would be completely unimaginable in Central Europe. If you treat your client like an enemy, he certainly will never come back... Ever heard something about flexibility?...
Read moreSingurul avantaj al acestei pensiuni, este locatia centrala. Vazand pozele de pe site si Booking, speram ca realitatea sa fie aceeasi. Celelalte camere pe care le-am vazut, erau intr-adevar mari, spatioase si luminoase, dar review-ul il voi face pentru camera in care eu am stat, de marimea patului celorlalte camere, foarte mica si destul de intunecata. Nu ar fi fost cel mai mare dezavantaj, daca ar fi avut un pret considerabil mai mic decat celelalte camere si nu ar fi existat probleme serioase in ceea ce priveste curatenia.
Check in realizat 31.08.23, 22:30. Primele probleme observate au fost in baie. Chiuveta era plina de par si subliniez PLINA! Peste noapte, in baie colcaiau gandacii.
In frigiderul din camera am gasit alte fire de par! In frigider!!! Am mers la receptie pentru a semnala problemele si pentru a incerca sa schimbam camera, dar ne am lovit de atitudinea complet neprofesionista a doamnei care era pe tura.
Comunicarea cu dansa a fost extrem de dificila iar argumentele doamnei complet invalide. A sters cu un servetel chiuveta si frigiderul de par si s a limitat in a spune ca asa ceva nu s a mai intamplat pana atunci. Nu a fost de acord cu schimbarea camerei in conditiile in care in pensiune au fost camere libere pana a doua zi dupa amiaza. Am solicitat sa fie facut din nou curatenie in camera, lucru care s a intamplat a doua zi dimineata.
La micul dejun toata mancarea era rece! Cascavalul si branza aveau un miros deloc natural, iar unele felii de paine erau mucegaite. Nu am mai avut incredere sa mancam nici diferitele dulciuri ambalate servite pentru ca nu aveau o data de expirare pe ambalaj. La bucatarie am observat un recipient mare de spray de gandaci, semn ca cei de acolo cunosteau foarte bine situatia din pensiune (putem doar presupune ca foloseau acel spray si in bucatarie, printre alimentele pe care le serveau).
Pe langa toate acestea, Duminica 03.09.23, la check-out, doamna de la receptie (aceeasi de pe tura de noapte de la sosirea noastra), a avut aceeasi atitudine neprofesionista in momentul in care am cerut 10 15 minute suplimentare pentru a elibera camera.
Din pacate, nu am avut inspiratia sa facem poze de la bun inceput la toate neregulile observate. Am facut doar la parul gasit pe gresie in baie si la painea mucegaita. La parul din frigider si din chiuveta a facut poze doamna prezenta la receptie la...
