Pensiunea Crai Nou — Hotel in Fundata

The location is amazing; away from the bustling snow resorts in the area. You are surrounded by nature at its best, by silence, by snow capped mountains and beautiful cottages spread out valleys. The road to the pension is unpaved (around 1 km from the main road), which contributed to that feeling that we are leaving the civilized world for majestic, authentic nature. ||||The pension was recently build and is very well maintained. The room size as the bed size, is generous. All the rooms have beautiful, panoramic views (windows and balcony). There is a fully equipped kitchen and a dining room at each floor which makes it easier for those travelling in group or with children. We stayed here for couple of days with our 2 daughters (3 and 6). We all loved this place. It was so good to runaway from overcrowded London. Its surrounded by silence, grasshoppers and cows bells. Basically during the day we were going to see some touristic attractions (Bran, Sibiu, Transalpina ect.) and it was nice to go back there every afternoon just to relax. Pros:||- very nice view from the room ||- quiet, remote place||- very clean ||- friendly staff||||To improve:||- you don't have any place to eat nearby (no breakfast either). A basic restaurant would be usefull||- there are about 2 km of unpaved road from the national road to the house||- the receptionist didn't know about our reservation but found a room for us.
