Galmondo — Hotel in Galați

Worst hotel ever! If you want to use the elevator, you have to go on stairs first, even if you are in a wheelchair.. Very bulky room and small, nothing fancy. The courtains were dirty. There are no wall sockets next to the bed, the reading lamp is connected to an extention cord under the bed. In our room the switch of the reading lamp was broken and i got an electric shock when i tried to switch on the light. The shower sprayes the water all over the bathroom, and then the water leaked in the room because the floor drainage was clogged. Our suitcase got soaked in water, as we left it on the small hallway next to the bathroom. There was no remote for the AC, they said they only give during summer (we went in April), and there's no power socket next to it (you need to ask for an extention from Reception). The remote of the TV they are keeping in Reception only and they give with the room key. Due to the lack of power sockets, you have to choose if you want to use the minibar or the TV or charging a phone, not all together, without asking for an extention cord. Looks like the hotel was build in the middle ages, when there was no electricity... Breakfast is very briefy, nothing seems to tell you that you are staying in a 4 star hotel. We have eaten better in a 2 star motel!! Towards the breakfast lounge they have only stairs. We complained about the room condition and they were very unkind to us. Prices are too high for the offered conditions.

Honestly i am very disappointed, first i asked for some ice and i was sent to the restaurant had to go up the down two levels and when i hot there they were offended i asked for ice cause they had an event and so one , the attitude i've got it was desgrasgul , first they should've gotten the ice for me but anyways got back to the reception area they gave me the key to a dirty room, go back to reception to get the key to another room.||Breakfast was included but no one informed me what time is the breakfast till even when i checked out and i asked about breakfast .Went to the restaurant and the lady there with even a worst attitude then the previous one told me the breakfast shut at 10.30 and when i said no one informed me she said i should've read the leaflets which i didn't get or they were somewhere in the room and she was like well now i'll give u breakfast like she was doing me a favour , I paid for.breakfast.||The breakfast ....no choice they just brought me whatever , never asked if i will be ok with that or anything ||Honestly the service was absolute rubbish and the attitude ,especially of the restaurant stuff desgrasfull ,I don't know how that hotel...
