Hotel City Break — Hotel in Galați

Ive wrote a review 2 years ago when this place was managed by someone else. Unfortunately over the past 2 years it seems this hotel is going down hill. The only reason I stay here is because it is close to family when I visit. This is not directed to the reception or hospitality. It is directed to the cleaners who are probably not checked on when doing their job. The bathrooms are dirty with mould and dust. The beds have no blankets only sheets. The coffee machines and kettle are rusted and have mould and scale in them. They do not bother do clean them or rinse them. Ive have so far stayed here 4 times in July 2025 alone and had to buy my own kettle and bring it with. It is not normal and standards are very low. Even the carpets in the room are not vacuumed you feel it when walk barefoot. Im so disappointed and I hope management reads this to check on the cleaners. Ive stayed in different rooms on all floors and currently in a room the shower has no edge so water goes everywhere and in the shower itself the wall has no grouting and smells of mould and has mould marks all over. Eu și mama mea am plănuit din timp să mergem cu un câine. Am contactat managerul în rezervările de chat și am avertizat despre faptul că vom fi cu un câine - am răspuns că va trebui să plătim un supliment de 10 euro. Nu este o problemă, după ce am călătorit în mașină 16 ore după 23 de ore am ajuns la hotel, unde ni se spune că, din moment ce câinele cu păr și probabil va fi vărsat - nu ne vom înregistra. Timp de mai mult de 45 de minute managerul (mare că vorbea fluent limba engleză) a convins să ne dea posibilitatea de a ne înregistra. Și asta în ciuda faptului că camera a fost plătită și am avertizat în prealabil despre câine. Cu puțin noroc am fost înregistrați și ni s-a cerut 20 de euro, nu 10. Apropo, camera era murdară, întrerupătoarele erau lipicioase, nu era apă, deși am pus pungi de ceai. Era doar un singur suport de haine pentru două persoane. În cameră nu exista o parolă de internet, dar exista un meniu de la pizzeria din vecinătate. A trebuit să coborâm de la etajul trei la recepție noaptea pentru a obține parola pentru wi-fi.
