Hotel Royale Galati — Hotel in Galați

First visit to Romania, and this hotel was my second choice, actually based on my first option this one turned out to be better than expected. The rooms were nicely furnished, clean, and quiet. The location of the hotel was about a 2min walk to overlooking the river Danube.||||Breaking down each element||Rooms - nicely decorated, large bathrooms, and all the mod cons||Breakfast - very basic in fact - not much to choice and no toast (must be an English thing), was a bit of a let down but as the say "in Rome do as"||Location: Great location, as mentioned above, and it was a 10min walk to the main town area where all the shops, bars, restuarants were situated||||Overall, great hotel, the staff were very accommodation and always polite. Only real problem I had was that you had to ask for the towels to be changed daily. Also food wise you will need to eat out - we did order a pizza one night but by the time it arrived it was relatively cold, and there is no facilities to get them heated up.||||I would recommend and stay at this...

I had a very bad experience in Hotel Royale Galati, first of all, I didn't even get to the hotel after 3000 km and we were told that the room was not paid for and the manager was unable to explain why . after almost 40 minutes of talking on the phone, the lady at one point got annoyed that she was talking to us from the toilet and waking up the whole room, she was on vacation in Mamaia and I should call the people from "lastminute.com" to solve the problem if not on the contrary to evacuate the room until the morning.||In the morning I woke up to solve the problem, I talked, I received all the necessary documentation from the people at "lastminute.com", I hand it all to the manager, she was still not satisfied because she is visiting some friends and I don't have time to . make it happen. In the end after three stress that the lady evacuates from the room it was resolved only that she didn't even come to tell you the problems of not telling her face.||In the end, a very bad experience, I do not recommend this...

I was looking few days on Booking different sites to find a place for one night, for a business trip and to get the most from it. 1) They say the view to the river it is amazing . WORNG !There is no chance to have any view to the river, as their rooms are only at the ground floor and in front of the location there are normal houses for living, so , no chance to see from the top ...||2) They said there is the opportunity to have a breakfast WRONG ! No breakfast (as the receptionist said there is no oven or the oven it is broken..)||3) They said there is a parking . Well, there is , but full of other neibourgs cars, no chance for a guest of the hotel to park here. ||Hotel itself, it is just a ground floor of a 10 floors building and this cause lots of missunderstandings on the web sites where is posted this location to be sold as hotel accomodation. ||One word -...
