I made reservation for 1 night at hotel Senator in Timsoara, I was travelling by car and wanted to stay for one night on the way home. When driving to the hotel, a friend called in the morning to confirm that we are coming and that everything is ok with the reservation. The reception lady said that we are expected, rooms will be ready, and made a remark that there will be a party in the hotel restaurant.||When we arrived the reception lady was very friendly and she knew from her colleague in the mrning shift that we are coming. She made a qucik checkin and gave us the keys to the rooms.||The rooms are very big, but carpets are old, smelling old and there is smell of cigar in the rooms. The music was very loud from the disco-club and we could not sleep at all. I asked at the reception how long the party will be and they told me it will last until morning.||I decided to leave the hotel and to move somewhere else. We left at midnight!||One of my friends was waken up by the music around 2am and he asked the reception to stop the music. THey reduced the volume, but still the noise was very big.||In the morning my friends refused to pay for the rooms, because they had noise until 4-5 am. The hotel manager accepted this and apologized explaining that this a "one time only" situation.||In case you want to stay in the hotel, make sure there is no party planned for the night. You will not be able to sleep because rooms have no noise isolation. We did not try the breakfast, so we cannot say what is the quality and freshness of the food.||The reception personnel was friendly and calm. trying to move us in anotehr room. I have no complaint...
Read moreIn September and international technology day was organized at the business center of the Hotel Senator. ||This review is about that venue and no info about the hotel itself. ||The business center is right next to the hotel with a generous parking lot - free of charge. The space is big - in other times it can fit 1500 people - this time it was in the range of 100 plus the equipment on display -since it was a technology day. ||From my perspective the center was a bit over decorated for the flock of of engineer visiting but it was nice in the end. ||Entrance with strict rules - proof of vaccination needed, mask was mandatory through the entire event , sanitizers available , distancing between the participants. So yes you can organize such events, even in these times. ||The facilities as are appropriate and available - strong Wi-Fi , free of charge - furniture practical and functional. ||The catering was supplied by the hotel , and it was very good, nothing to complain about. ||Overall , if you are looking for a spot to organize an event or if you need to attend an event on the premises I would say that the Business center at the Senator is a very good place, and worth...
Read moreI recently attended a conference in a room that held over 1000 people and I was extremely impressed by the facilities. The room was spacious and well-ventilated, with comfortable seating and ample legroom. The stage was well-equipped with state-of-the-art audio and visual technology, which made it easy for the speakers to present their material effectively.
One of the things I appreciated most about the conference room was the excellent lighting and acoustics. Despite the large number of people in the room, it was easy to see and hear everything that was happening on stage. The organizers also did a great job of providing attendees with resources such as handouts and a program schedule.
Overall, I had a very positive experience at the conference and I would highly recommend the conference room to anyone looking to host a large event. The facilities were top-notch and the staff was professional and efficient. I would definitely consider using this conference room again...
