Spa & Ice Resort Hotel — Hotel in Ghiroda

Negative atitudine from Spa reception lady. I ask ‘ why the wet sauna is not working?’ Answear: ‘tehnical problems’. Me: for 2 months tehnical problem? She: yes. Me: how it can be? It means like the 4 star hotel dont eant to fix the problem. She: if you dont like go somewere else. Me: i want to come here. Why they dont fix the wet sauna? She: if you dont like it go somewhere else. Finaly a responsible person hered the conversation amd speak: is disable because of covid 19, the steem can transmit the desease. Me: ok, at least i received one resonable answer, thank you. So, please, train the 4 stars hotel personel. They act like they own the busines, like they dont care about the incomings of the hotel. They dont care about the clients. Her the management of hotel is a problem. Not the employ. I will go same place, i like the spa. I dont eant to change the place. But how they dont have competition on the market…. The customers/clients receive whatever treatment. Romania….. and romanian...

We were a group of 6 adults and 2 children and we opted for this hotel for their spa facilities and it was alright. The waiters at the breakfast and at their restaurant were very nice and polite, but the place was kind of a mixed feeling of fresh moderness and stingy renewal. Some stuff were very modern and minimalist looking while the furniture were outdated and a lot of them had broken sides, that are not really child-safe. Their variety of restaurant is pretty good with reasonable pricing. Cleaniness of the hotel and rooms was good, sadly a few parts need more deep cleaning especially in the bathrooms. You get bathrobes and slippers as usual. You have parking in front of the hotel, but at the daytime it’s quite packed since you can get daypass entrance for the spa without booking a room what is quite nice, you have access to the steam, salt, finnish sauna rooms and gym, swimming pool, jacuzzi and the smaller pool that is...

I didn't understand much of this hotel. It's very remote, probably proper if you're between flights. The appearance is mixed... On one hand, it seems you have everything you might need (including spa and restaurant), on the other hand, I think it's badly planned (lots of stairs, complicated structure) and the overall aspect is between comunist/old style and cheap. It's clear they didn't have a proper designer and that's a pity, as they could have done anything they wanted with all the space and facilities they have. Food in the restaurant is surprisingly good, although they have an extensive menu, the rooms are spotlessly clean, but with the same difficult to understand design. The doors are very thin I think, so you can hear all your neighbours entering and getting out. Overall a good experience, although you feel something is odd...
