I was getting married with my husband in June. We reserved the 2 rooms: one for 1 night, and one for 2 night (both of them Junior Suites). They say it's a 4 stars "hotel"/pension. OK, yes - the rooms are very nice, looking good. ||1. Unfortunately, some important facilities for us were missing in both rooms: no mini fridge - only a, empty space for it and no telephone in the rooms||2. The receptionist was speaking really bad with us: after we asked for some spoons for the coffees, we received only one and some angry words and tone: "Deal with it!"||3. Nobody told us that there will be a daylight baptism party on Sunday (we had the wedding on Saturday), so we expected to get some rest after our wedding... But no - no chance! Very loud music, walls shaking and everything!||4. After we all day went to relatives and stay on their couches we called at around 11pm at the reception and asked how much will the party still be on. The girl answered that it will be around 3-4am!||5. We had a meeting with the manager/owner - Mister Marius (something) IN THE LOBBY where we tried to explain and tell our complains, but we where treated like "hell" - yelled at us, swore at us, jumped into hitting me, and afterwards my husband etc! I must specify that we tried almost at all times to calm him down and tried to speak in a civilised manner. And also I should specify that he didn't even wanna hear our complains! ||6. In the end we were told to go into the room and pack our bags and leave the hotel and never come back!||So, as I said: the worst experience in our life! ||I sure hope, that if you go still decide to go there, to not have anything to deal with...
Read moreIt is not near the city centre, however considering that a cab is not expensive to travel with, it is not an inconvenience. Rooms were very clean, it smelled like fresh, bathroom was cleaned, enough towers, and some soap and shampoo. No body lotion. The receptionist was very helpfull, giving us advises on where to go, what is best to eat in the area visited and how much to expect it would cost, and once decided, quickly ordered us a cab who promptly came. Came back later, way after midnight, she was still smiling and full of energy. :) Breakfast was good but eat outside at lunch. There would be one thing I would change, they gave us 1 key for the room, we were two, usually we each get a key, as we don't have to depend on each other for the room key. When asking for 2nd room key, we were told there isn't none. I find that hard to believe, cleaners must be able to get in and clean the room at one point, don't they?||Anyway, overall, I would rate this as a nice stay, I would...
Read moreWe stayed at Dona Ana last summer for 3 weeks, it was a great experience.||The hotel is very nice, rooms are spacious and well-kept, prices are very competitive and WiFi works very well. Staff is kind and balance can me paid either in cash or by credit card.||Breakfast is ok, not great, while the adjoining restaurant offers great Romanian and Italian dishes, all cooked properly (in fact, it's one of the best restaurants in town). There are frequent parties (weddings, etc.) organized within the restaurant premises, but this never disturbed us. In case you want to be on the safe side, just ask for a room on the opposite side. ||The only downside is that the hotel is on the outskirts of town, so don't go there if you are looking for a tourist place in the city centre, which is anyway reachable with a (cheap) taxi ride of...
