Overrated and overpriced. Not recommended. Although "Mon Jardin" in Mahmudia has good potential, it simply fails to deliver. The rooms show overdue maintenance. The restaurant suffers from the ubiquitous problem of nowadays Romania: the lack of (trained) personnel. You can get a boat tour of the Delta of Danube, but consider that Mahmudia is located in a rather commercial area of the Delta, where human interference can be seen almost anywhere. Read moreI've stayed at Mon Jardin for 3 days. The only nice thing for me was the view over the Danube. The hotel is clean, but the safety rules during this times are not respected. The boy who served us at the restaurant was the only one who has the protection mask on his face. The rest of the people in the restaurant were not wearing it at all or they keep the mask under their chin. The quality of the food is very, very low.
