Mercure Medias Binderbubi Hotel And Spa — Hotel in Mediaș

Room very nice, large pool, tasty food for dinner. However:

we had dinner at their restaurant, we were told we need to eat outside because the inside is reserved. I'm pregnant and i don't like heat, fortunately it wasn't sunny, but it was hot. We later overheard other people were offered the possibility to choose to sit inside. Our dinner took over an hour, we left and tables inside were still free. Food was however very good. wanted to book a prenatal massage which was one of the massages advertised in their brochure. They don't have a booking system for scheduling massages, they had to call the girl who does the massages- that wasn't a problem, but when she heard what i wanted (prenatal massage), i was told it can only be done if I'm sitting on a chair. I'm not heavily pregnant so l don't understand why I was told that, i've had such massage before and i know it can be done on the back and on the side. So I refused. by far the worst part was the breakfast. We arrived at 9 and breakfast was until 10. There was barely any food left. The 40-45 minutes we were there, there was no intention to top up anything. We had to ask for bread. The food we did...

As I am a fan of the Mercure hotels in Romania (my favourite is, since its opening, the Mercure Bucharest City Center), I decided to spend one night at this property. What a great and pleasant surprise! The hotel is newly renovated since May 2021 and affiliated to the Mercure chain (Accor Hotels). Well, everything was perfect and I was totally satisfied by my stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, up to the latest industry standards. I very much appreciated the bed, which is so important for a good night sleep, the linen and also the new carpeting and furniture. The TV system is advanced and offers a large range of TV channels, at digital quality, plus streaming possibilities. But the big surprise came from the big-dimensions swimming pool (covered & heated). I used it for two consecutive days and I was was very happy. All the hotel personnel were extremmely friendly and professional; you know this is a crucial point for any positive hotel experience. Just one remark: the breakfast needs a little bit of improvement, in terms of variety of the offering. Conclusion: The Mercure is, by far, the best hotel in Medias and I can't wait to...

After I discovered this new Mercure in Medias, I stayed maybe four times last year at this hotel. I returned for the first time this year (2022) and I have to say that everything was perfect. It is the best hotel in Medias, without any doubt. Great suite, with modern furniture and TV systems (including streaming), a huge bathroom with both a bathtub and a shower cabin, everything was fresh and clean in the room. The heated swimming pool is simply amazing, it is huge and so relaxing to use. The restaurant menu is vastly improved, compared to my last stays, offering a wide variety of food and beverages, in line with the Mercure hotels standards. The breakfast also, with some traditional Romanian offerings. As every single time, all the personnel of the hotel were extremely friendly and welcoming; I very much appreciated this aspect, cause it is so important.
