Pensiunea Danubiu — Hotel in Murighiol

I’ve planned one short visit to Danube Delta during my Romania visit and I found this location via Booking com were the location has good reviews. In reality the location is a perfect place to screw up your journey. I can’t mention any positive fact about this journey. First of all I ve called for booking to check the availability and the admin replied to me to don’t book via Booking com and set the booking by phone, which I’ve accepted. At arrival he was confused and we were at few hours to remain without the booking ( which was a good think - but realised latter). Finally he found one room ( different than originally booked-low quality), and he asked for full payment at arrival. We went to the room and we’ve found one extensible tent bed as third place in the room for my daughter 12 years old. In the booking policy the location treat the third person in the room above 12 years old as adult for payment?. After I’ve claimed that the bed is not suitable to sleep on, the staff pretended to look for another bed , but finally they set one plastic subbed from the pool with one twin mattress as a third bed ( where my daughter slept for 3 nights). Far away than our matrimonial bed to be better. The mattress ( sponge one) was to damaged by time and when you laid down the feeling was that you laid down above one hole. The bed shield was never changed during our 3 nights staying or even the beds arranged. The room was not cleaned at all and the bathroom was a nightmare. The shower cabin surge connection was damaged and after first shower the bathroom was flooded with water. The small bath carpet was fully wet. After each shower the water in the bathroom required to be pushed to the drainage hole. The offered shampoo dozes were almost impossible to be open up ( very low quality packages and contain also). Only daily support for the cleaning staff was to change the towels. The breakfast was simplistic and always could ( even the food which supposed to be warm was could). The offered food “a la carte” from menu list was not very attractive and most of the traditional fish dishes were far to be be as good as suppose to be. For boat trips the admin asked as to pay a higher rate than was mentioned in the location offer: for 3 hrs trip ( which in reality is no more than 2:15 ) in the location book the price per pers was 60 Ron but the admin asked 75 ron. In add the location did not have to offer some basic fishing tools for non professional fishing ( to offer some fun to the visitors). There are better places in the area to accommodate and be care that the location is very well rated by the admin friends and...

The experience was a NIGHTMARE! from the reception we were received with verbal aggression and conditions that I was not prepared to receive, being tired after such a journey.| I THINK THAT ON BOOKING the comments are fake and it gives you an impression of what WOAW is!| Only the guesthouse is OK (the building)! but the management, service and strict conditions in the guesthouse just make me say AVOID THIS LOCATION!!!!| EXAMPLES:| 1. IN THE ROOM, FOR 4 DAYS, I had water on the floor from the AC, which no one came to fix, they gave me extra towels to absorb, there was a lake on the parquet;| 2. The guesthouse manager, very aggressive and from the entrance, recommended me to find another guesthouse as he is not interested in tourists with breakfast reservations.| 3. The breakfast tables were located in the door, every time there is a risk of waking up when you eat with a door in your head.| 4. The water machine did not work, and they did not rush to find solutions.| 5. They forbade us to use the coffee machine, the chips were rented....I didn't understand why it was still there| 6. From the first day of accommodation, the bartender and the waiter left. Please imagine how the service was (due to the manager for sure).| 7. Conditions for food in the order! Being families with 2 children each, you had to announce what you eat for lunch and in the evening you remained without food;| 8. The guesthouse closes at 10:00 p.m., that is, with the key and the restriction not to make noise. In a whisper| 9. The manager is spying on you... I didn't understand that... we were discussing how to do the route on the Danube and since there were several families, he simply intervened in our discussions and was offended... I don't understand the meaning| 10. At the evening meal, insects would get into your eyes without putting insect repellants or scented sticks. When we reported it, a waiter brought from his room, his personal thing, a scented stick so that we could eat.| My recommendation for hostels is to learn that TOURISM means HOSPITALITY! THE RECOMMENDATION OF MANY of those who have been there is to AVOID if you are looking for your vacation days, we found peace in another part of this guesthouse.|...

Mi-as fi dorit sa pot recomanda aceasta pensiune, dar, din păcate, comportamentul proprietarilor, și nu numai, lasă mult de dorit. Am rezervat și am plătit avans la sfârșitul lunii iunie pentru 5 camere, 3 pentru pachet de 4 nopti și 2 pentru pachet de 3 nopti. Am trimis e-mail proprietarilor și i-am întrebat dacă se poate renunța la una din excursiile lungi pentru ca o parte din familii aveau copii mici. Ni s-a transmis ca excursiile sunt optionale și se poate renunța. Am răspuns cu un e-mail in care precizam ca tot grupul renunța la o excursie lunga. De asemenea, am întrebat dacă putem veni cu un Yorkshire terrier mic și ni s-a transmis ca nu ar accepta animale de companie, dar dacă îl supraveghem, putem veni cu el. Încă de la check-in am fost întâmpinați cu o atitudine plictisită ( ca sa nu folosesc termeni mai urâți). In prima zi am fost trimiși la debarcader fără a ni se explica unde este acesta și noi, neștiind ca in Murighiol sunt mai multe debarcadere, bineînțeles ca am greșit și am ajuns in alta parte. Dar aceasta a fost cea mai mică problema din tot așa-zisul sejur... Din păcate, una dintre familiile care aveau rezervat pachet de 4 nopti, după prima excursie, a dorit sa renunțe si la a doua excursie lunga, din motive medicale. Aceasta l-a enervat la culme pe proprietar care a decis imediat sa scurteze și cealalte 2 pachete la 3 nopti. Aceasta, după ce, cu aceeași atitudine de “domn” ne-a spus ca el nu a fost anunțat ca s-a dorit renunțarea la una din excursii si ca l-am încurcat (deși noi aveam discuțiile de pe e-mail care dovedesc ca a fost anunțat și putea de atunci sa ne explice ca nu este posibil). Noi și cealaltă familie care avem rezervare pentru patru nopti, dacă doream sa mai stam, urma sa fim mutați in alte camere, mai mici și fără balcon și nici nu se mai punea problema de ultima excursie. Proprietarul ne-a spus ca nu suntem suficient de multe persoane pentru a putea merge intr-o barca. Practic, am fost dați afara intr-un mod voalat din pensiune. Eu ma întreb dacă, in cazul in care ar fi renunțat altcineva care nu ar fi avut legătură cu noi, la fel ar fi procedat... Am plecat din pensiune in cea de a treia zi, la ora 13:30 și nu ni s-au returnat banii pentru noaptea 3 de cazare pe care o plătisem deja. In concluzie, aveți grija când faceți rezervare la aceasta pensiune, s-ar putea sa va fie scurtat unilateral sejurul. Singurul punct forte al acestei pensiuni este locația și personalul angajat care a fost foarte drăguț și serviabil. Țin sa precizez ca meniul din imaginea de prezentare a pachetului de 4 zile nu se respecta, noi, in prima zi, primind la prânz cu totul altceva decât ce este scris acolo. Camerele sunt destul de mari, dar curățenia lasa de dorit. Ma învinuiesc pe mine, pentru că nu am căutat mai mult înainte de a face rezervare, întrucât pe contul Google al acestei pensiuni sunt o mulțime de review-uri negative. Desi am plecat de acasă cu gândul la un concediu relaxant, după 3 luni de nebunie la serviciu, această vacanța a fost un eșec total, care putea fi evitat printr-o comunicare și organizare mai buna din partea proprietarilor. Am rămas cu un gust amar și este păcat, pentru ca avem o țară atât...
