Great location, close to the pier, ideal for a hearty meal after a long boat trip on the Delta's canals and lakes.

Been to the restaurant mid-April with a British business partner. We agreed that the food looked and tasted AMAZING ! We had sturgeon soup, chicken noodle soup, peasant's potatoes and, for dessert, cottage cheese and raisins pie. The pie was so tasty, fluffy and light that we took away another two portions to eat the following day. Tuica (Romanian plum brandy) was also excellent, with a delicate flavour and, unexpectedly, it was on the house, alongside the starters (fish roe salad). I visited this wonderful place in May 2016 and I discovered very nice and warm people, always ready to help and to give you the best advice about to see in this green paradise, that is the Danube Delta. ||The food was really great - based on fish (normal...). I loved everything: they have nice rooms, a large terrace where you can spend a rainy evening or you can eat lunch on sunny weather, two swimming pools, boats - for a ride to Sf. Gheorghe or Caraorman forest (where you can see multi secular oak trees and white sand dunes). Quiet afternoons, lovely sunrises. The place has great boat services for visiting the Delta ( sunset view from the middle of the lake, visiting the nearby villages Caraorman & Letea). The girls from the hotel reception were especially helpful to book us 2 places for 2 days of visiting, even half an hour before leave, because the other 'sailors' from village at whom we booked initially, resigned because not enough people showed up at the port. If you don't want to bother with too much phonecalls in vain, choose them, because you can count on them and offer quality service. They also accept vacation tickets.
