Pensiunea Craiul Munţilor-Restaurant — Hotel in Novaci

The views are superb, including from the restaurant terrace. Unfortunately there was just one person dealing with bookings and being the restaurant waiter. Most things we asked for from the menu were unavailable and they could only come up with one single bottle of dry-ish red wine. There was gin, but nothing to go with it, so we bought our own tonic from the supermarket opposite. The food they did manage to produce was mediocre. We asked for dessert, which was pancakes or pancakes, and we were told we would have to wait at least an hour because there were too many people for them to cope with! It wasn't exactly packed. The rooms were fine but there was a lot of noise and loud music from the neighbouring guesthouse, and it woke my husband up...

I can only say about their restaurant. :) the terrace offers you a great view. Inside is normal.|But the food and the service were great. Here's an interesting thing. There was only...one waiter and the restaurant is not so small. :) But this man was everywhere. He gave us very quickly the menus, brought our order very fast. We went only to the restaurant, and this was our second time. Our experience was very nice both times, the food was fresh and tasty, the waiter was prompt and friendly, and he made some good suggestions on the menu. The restaurant also has a very nice view to the mountains from the terrace, when weather permits. The prices are also good. I definitely recommend this restaurant, and we will surely go back again when we are...
