Hotel President — Hotel in Oradea Metropolitan Area

For a 4 star hotel it is Alot: for start: no parking space available, i had to park away in the back of the building on a dusty terrain near 300 meters away from reception, it was the only place available, in the same time the hotel owner car is standing right in front on the alley to reception, i had to go on the grass with luggage to go around the car. In the room the AC wasn't working, i had to sleep with window open and the music stopped very late at night. The shower was dripping all night, i had to put a towel in the tub. In the mini bar should be some variety treats, but there was only 2 small beers and 2 7UP, no water, peanuts or anything else! Remember this is a 4 star Hotel! The outside pool was unavailable because restoring, the back pools (new) were very dirty. Alot of old people using the ONLY elevator in the old building, i went with the stairs, on the first floor i nearly tripped on a chair left near an electric board glued with duct-tape; on the second floor an ironing table standing right in the lobby!!! I paid nearly 100 euro/ night in a hotel who deserves only 2 stars, not 4 stars. The experience was terrible, i will not come again and i advise to look for other accommodation immediately. If i had not made 800 km in that day, was very tired, i would canceled my reservation and look for something else. 15 years ago, this hotel was the best, now it's ruin. I recommend demotion of this establishment at least another star and to reduce prices to half of what they charge now; event then is...

Nice termal water, good pools. And thats it. Good hotel, but extremly crowded despite of relatively poor services, not quite 4 stars at all, but bearable. But the restaurant, despite of being built and organized for four stars is max two stars. Basic self service food-court or company cafeteria style ( all you can eat style), no or poor services, cheap drinks, same meal for lunch and dinner, less that 3 stars hotel breakfast. I am a returning client of the hotel, almost every year for 15 years now, but this one very easy could be my last one. Not even in the Covid period have I found this small disaster in their 4 star restaurant. If you came all inclussive style, you have very few options for meal, basicly just the self service. In the attached foto you can see a dead crane fly which lays for three days on the entrance door of my hotel room. I wonder how will be their services in their five star hotel just started...

We staid in the renovated part of the hotel. The room was looking ok but not clean. The couch was full of crisps so clearly nor clean properly. We ask for a cot in advanced but was not in our room and the staff said that the maid has gone home and is not possible to help us… the hotel has now pool with normal water for the kids. Our children are small for the thermal water (1 year and 3). There is no specification on the website that they have just thermal water pools even for kids. Of you are with a stroller is hard to manage because the ramps that go to the pool for example is very very steep. One person can’t manage to go alone. |The meals are very bad. Bad ingredients and greasy and mostly just meat. |Of you what to go to the gym is very complicated yo get the keys and so on.
