Overall a terrible impression on their inexistent customer service

We hardly booked a room for 2 people, I say hardly because they “need” an advance on payment for a firm reservation. The communication was extremely hard, via email (their preffered way) to which they answered always 2 days after my reply. Anyway. We got there, we got a room. An extremely small one. Two slim people can hardly get by in the same time, in that room. Rooms are small to say the least. Tiny. And it costs 100/lei per person per night. Walls are so thin, you can hear the people breathing in the room next to you. The floor is also creaking like crazy all over the establishment. There is no wifi offered to customers. The food is good. Coffee is something that resembles the taste of coffee. Nothing else is included in the price per room but the room itself. Now comes our main disappointment. While taking a shower, the shower glass simply shattered all over my husband. He had cuts on his legs…we patched him up and he headed downstairs to let the owners know what happened. They gave him a broom and a dustpan to clean the glass up. Didn’t even come upstairs to see for themselves. Am sa ofer un review detaliat despre experienta avuta la Cabana Cetatiile Ponorului. Am sa incerc sa-l fac cat se poate de obiectiv.

1. Cazare Camera in care am fost cazati lasa de dorit daca e sa ne raportam la pretul platit (voi detalia mai jos). Am fost 4 persoane si am inchiriat camera de la mansarda in care erau 4 paturi, un mini dulapior, o mini etajara si o masuta (fara scaune). Camera era foarte mica, iar paturile sunt puse langa perete si daca nu esti foarte atent dai cu capul de tavan cand te ridici din pat.Ce ne-a deranjat cel mai tare e ca nu era nicio priza in camera. Deci daca vroiai sa-ti incarci telefonul/camera video sau orice altceva nu puteai sa faci asta din camera, trebuia sa cobori un etaj si sa le lasi la incarcat pe holul comun. Nu stiu daca situatia asta e valabila in toate camerele sau daca am fost noi mai ghinionisti. Am impresia ca pretul camerei de la mansarda era chiar mai mare decat in restul camerelor. In camera nu este frigider, deci daca va duceti mancare de acasa, situatia devine problematica.
2. Gazda Proprietarii cabanei sunt amabili si dispusi sa te ajute cu tot ce e nevoie.
3. Mancarea Mancarea este foarte buna si variata (la micul dejun). Totul e facut in bucataria proprie. Aveti posibilitatea sa optati pentru un mic dejun (49 lei de persoana) si pentru cina (69 lei de persoana) (august 2023). Merita sa incercati macar o data aceste doua mese. La discutia telefonica pe care am avut-o cand am rezervat, mi s-a parut ca proprietarul nu a fost foarte incantat ca nu vrem sa servim toate mesele la locatie si mi-a zis ca oamenii care se cazeaza acolo si mananca acolo. Eu cred ca ar trebui sa li se dea libertate oaspetilor sa manance unde vor. Se pot cumpara si bauturi de la locatia (sticle de vin, bere).
4. Locatia Locatia este superba si o mare parte din trasee sunt scurtate ca durata din cauza aplasamentului perfect al cabanei. Cabana are si o terasa afara unde se poate lua masa, hamace, masa de ping-pong si altele. Atmosfera e una placuta.
5. Raport calitate/pret (august 2023) Pretul cazarii mi se pare mult mult prea mare pentru ceea ce ofera. Mi se pare exagerat sa ceri suma de 139 lei /persoana si sa oferi doar un pat, fara priza sau frigider in camera. Am inchiriat 4 persoane camera de la mansarda si am platit 556 lei pe noapte, suma care mi s-a parut mult prea mare. Bineinteles, ni s-a comunicat pretul dinainte, si am fost de acord nestiind care sunt conditiile. Pretul e de cel putin 2 ori mai mare decat alte cabane care ofera aceleasi conditii de cazare si care sunt bine situate in zonele montane. Road: if you come from Rachitele towards Cabana Ponor is a NO GO unless you have a 4x4 as road is a killer for the other types of car for almost 10 km. This beautiful house is located in a quiet place near the most important places to hike in a fast pace if you do not have many days to spend here. There is a barrier at 1,7km before arriving where you have to introduce a code given from them so you can pass with the car.
