Porumbacu treehouse — Hotel in Porumbacu de Jos

All the things the other reviews say are true. The secluded tree- houses are realllly cool. We were there in December. We had to maintain the fire with wood every 3 hours but it is worth it because the the warm and wonderful feeling the light, noise and warmth of wood fire is priceless. A minus can be the lack of a restroom at the eating area, but they were working on it right then so in 2021 it will be ready. The two grandpas are extarordinary men. My boy was treated exraordinarily - they told stories and taught him.things and he was kept busy in the most pleasant way. Hadn't been for Mr. C, my boy would have got bored after 2 days. We stayed 5. I would rather recommend it for lazy people who really need a break in order.to sleep late and for naughty couples who need some.time.for love (for dynamic noisy people that peace for more than 2 nights is probably too much). A unique experience in the heart of a rich area in terms of interesting places and historical sites you can visit. The treehouse is something you have to try. We loved every moment of it, the hosts were very kind, helpful and have cool stories to tell. The house comes equipped with everything you might need: kitchen, shower, toilet, tv. My favorite part was taking care of the fire to keep us warm. Mr Mihai explained how the wood-fueled stove works and then I took it from there. A bucket list dream finally became reality and what a wonderful place to stay. The treehouse was not only beautiful but you felt within nature whilst having the home comforts. The hosts made the experience even more special. Mihai and his wife made our stay. 10/10. Breakfast was delicious and we were lucky Mihai had lots of interesting stories from his past, he was so kind and nothing was too much trouble.
