Pensiunea Mai — Hotel in Rășinari

Overall a poor experience, please avoid Pensiunea Mai We booked all the rooms for 3 nights, with all 3 meals/day included

Indoor swimming pool and nice children’s playground Very nice and helpful receptionist

Poor quality food, small portions, overpriced Arrogant and greedy owner lady The restaurant toilet, the hallway to the breakfast restaurant and the breakfast terrace stinks like hell No soap on the club bathroom Only a couple of rooms had bath robes The tap water from the room was undrinkable and one 0.5L mineral water bottle in the restaurant is 1.6EUR

One day when we were relaxing on the terrace, the owner lady asked us to occupy fewer tables (we were sitting on 3 tables from a total of 6-8) or move, because we are bothering the potential customers (again, we booked the whole place for 3 nights!).

Dear tourist - please, choose another place! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 This PLACE which apears awesome in online photos doesn’t deserves any star or “flower”…I read all those negative comments behind our stay but I couldn’t believe that it will be as worse as it looks to be. We received a sarcastic welcome when the receptionist told us that 11 pm is hour for sleeping :) We assured the staff that we will just stay silent on the terace or garden but they seemed to be sarcastic and bad-owner when they told us that will turn off all the lights. Personally, I think that all the oldies party like goldies :) Later, the bar man served us and told us that we can stay on the terace after the bar will be closed. This didn’t happend because the owner lady tried to make all of us to leave the terace and go to the poll where was so cold…Another negative aspect and the principal is about the hot water. Nobody in the pension did not have hot water - maybe cold this is the new hot;) Bad bad bad experience! Tourists - Please choose another place!...

If many years ago, even many, this location enjoyed some notoriety, now it has become a notorious derelict. Starting with the huge prices asked for a dip in the outdoor pool. Food?
