We had an absolutely wonderful two-night stay at Mateo Transalpina! From the moment we arrived, the hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. They were incredibly helpful, offering tips on local attractions and ensuring we had everything we needed during our stay.

The location of Mateo Transalpina is simply stunning. Nestled in the forest, it offers a peaceful and quiet retreat, far from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The fresh forest air and serene surroundings were a refreshing change, providing a perfect setting to relax and unwind.

One of the highlights of our stay was the food. Every meal was absolutely delicious and clearly homemade, reflecting the care and attention put into each dish. The flavors were rich and authentic, making each dining experience a delight.

Additionally, the property is impeccably clean, which made our stay even more comfortable. It was clear that the hosts take great pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the accommodation.

Their hard work truly turned the hotel into a beautiful, warm, and friendly place to stay.||Food:|All food was locally sourced and absolutely delicious! The hearty and healthy breakfast kept me satisfied until we returned in the evening around 8:30pm.||Rooms:|We stayed in Room No. 4, which was beautifully presented and air-conditioned. Marius certainly didn’t skimp on the furniture, which was all sturdy and made of real wood! Everything is high quality, the breakfast was great. I regret I forgot to try palinka offered as welcome drinks - a nice touch. I would be happy to return one day....
