Pensiunea Podul Cetăţii — Hotel in Săsciori

The plus side:||This place is located in an idyllic green valley surrounded by mountains-it has a great position, close to the road, but far enough though in order not to be noisy. The garden is well maintained, beautifull and inviting.||There are all sorts of facilities to spend time outside:||- a swimming pool(small, but clean and functional);||- footbal/ basketbal field;||- tennis table;||-children's playground.||The outdoors is the big plus and make you want to return.||||Average accomodation:|| Rooms are basic, but really fair for the low accomodation price. They were clean and well maintained. On the minus side: When we arrived, they smelled like chloride, being desinfected just before. On the plus side: they had an electricity plug in the bathroom, and they turned on the heat in the evening, because it was cold outside(though in August).||The bungalows seem to be bigger, but I haven't seen them on the inside.||||Average restaurant||The restaurant looks good and has also a big terrace, but the menu is quite basic(though they wrote in the description they can prepare menus by special request). We ordered lunch,dinner and breakfast- and waited more than usual(given what we ordered) for the food to arrive.Some of the courses were tasty, some not so tasty- it seems they do not have a professional cook, but it's the owner's wife who takes the orders and also cooks.||The price/ quality ratio is fair.||||Poorly trained staff||||We encountered the owner and his wife on several occazions; they seem to have very few employees. Though benevolent, they could use some customer care trainings.||I overheard some loud phone conversations that seemes rather rude.They seem to be all over the place, but not very fast in delivering services.||||Free walking dogs||||There are 3 dogs walking freely around the property and barking at times. I guess it is a plus if you are a dog person- either than that, it can be...

Contra:

Comunicarea este la -1 . E posibil sa obtineti raspunsuri diferite daca ii intrebati pe ambii proprietari aceasi intrebare.

Recomandare - intrebati pretul si continutul meselor pe care doriti sa le serviti. Preturile nu sunt afisate, si nici componenta meselor si e posibil sa ramaneti cu un gust usor amar cand platiti la final. Ma refer aici la raportul calitate pret mai mult.

Nu stiu preturile pe perioada pandemiei, insa mi s-a parut scumpicel cel putin la micul dejun, si sincer nu il recomand pe cel "complet" ca nu isi justifica deloc diferenta de pret. Pentru cina nu ma pot pronunta sigur asupra pretului, ca nu il stiu, insa banuiesc ca nu m-as bucurea prea mult daca as afla cat am dat pe cina (vina noastra). Nici optiunile nu-s prea multe aici, insa va zic ca cioarba a fost foarte buna.

Terenul de baschet, desi existent, ma indoiesc ca e utilizabil, ca nu cred ca o sa va dea jos plasele ca sa aveti access la cosuri. Nu am fost informat ca trebuie sa vin cu "jucariile de acasa", si am fost mintit ca nu au rachete si mingi de tenis, iar cand am intrebat de cele prezente langa bar, domnul mi-a zis o minciuna - un "le-a uitat cineva cand a plecat spre bucuresti" balbait.

Pentru ca mai toti eram plecati pe zi, am vrut sa jucam un tenis de picior seara, si aveam nevoie de nocturna. Consider un plus ca exista nocturna chiar daca aceasta e cam slaba, permite cu usurinta sa joci un tenis de picior sau fotbal. Problema mea a fost ca atunci cand am intrebat si am fost de acord sa platim (era normal, pentru ca e destul de scumpa nocturna oriunde esti), ni s-a cerut 100 lei / ora . ma asteptam la un 50, insa 100 mi se pare un pret exagerat tinand cont ca si in bucuresti, o nocturna puternica adauga 20-30 lei peste pretul initial de inchiriere al terenului. Ca sa nu mai zic ca initial doamna a zis ca ne lasa 1 ora gratuit, insa apoi platim nocturna ca e scump, iar cand i-am zis lui sa o aprinda ne-am trezit cu costul de 100 lei. Am zis ca personal ma gandeam la un 50, insa cand am vazut cum ii sclipeau ochii lui dupa oportunitate am renuntat, si ne-am bucurat de 1 h de tenis de picior la pret de teren de lux.

Paturile sunt slabe. Scartaie si nu sunt asa confortabile. Eu n-am probleme sa dorm, insa o persoana mai sensibila e posibil sa nu se odihneasca foarte bine

** Comunicarea e la pamant. Cand am sunat la ei am anuntat ca vin cu un caine de talie mica, cand am sunat sa confirm am reamintit ca vin cu un caine de talie mica, cand am ajuns acolo a fost surpriza pentru doamna ca am un caine de talie mica, cum a fost si pentru mine ca in curte la ei e un caine maricel prietenos cu oamenii si cateii, insa daca este intaratat riposteaza. Pe langa Negrutu mai sunt si alti caini mai mici, unii ceva mai rai cu alte animale (si oameni). Toti merg liber prin curte, ceea ce mi se pare ok. Nu mi se pare ok ca nu mi s-a spus cand am zis ca am caine. Dupa ce am parcat mi s-a zis "Cainele nu doarme in pat, nu? Ca daca doarme in pat nu va primesc." Indiferent de unde doarme cainele meu, cred ca e un detaliu ce trebuia mentionat la telefon, nu dupa ce vin 300 de km si nu am altundeva unde sa dorm... ca am facut...

A lovely experience in the middle of nature. I went there with my colleagues and we occupied most of the place. As far as they said, everything was 5 🌟 in the chalet. The place has mesmerising view, it is very clean, kid-friendly and relaxing. Big plus for the swings, pool, barbecue areas, quietness and the 2 big, fluffy, playful dogs the hosts have.

It is a remote place but this also means bad (to none whatsoever in the bungalows) connection to the internet. I stayed in one of the bungalows and the lack of internet, hot water during the day(but I did have in the evening) and the light bulb going off are the reason I didn't give 5 🌟. Also, the bungalows are slightly more expensive than the rooms in the chalet. Just a piece of advice: the hosts should reconsider the price and make it cheaper where things don't get easily- in the bungalows. If everything goes smoothly in the chalet(hot water, internet, light), that's where it should be more expensive.😉

All in all a wonderful place, with lovely hosts!❤ The little technical things can be( and I'm sure they will be) remedied in time. Big thanks...
