Pension Ana Cristina — Hotel in Sighișoara

I must say I was impressed by the modesty and hospitality of our hosts. The place is very quaintly decorated in the local fashion, the rooms and ensuit are spotless and the area is a comfortable 20 minutes walk from the citadel. We really liked the elephant shaped towels on arrival and the complimentary coffee in the morning. For £15/night for 2 it's a bargain and the sorrounding area a treat. The only thing that puzzled us is that we have asked for a double bed and got twin bed size sheets and only realised it when we went to bed. We made an effort and made it work, had a good laugh about it. Parking is free but there isn't space for more than 3 cars in the courtyard. Otherwise there's parking on the side streets. Absolutely loved it! The beautifully decorated garden with the pond can easily be mistaken for a fairytale. Excellent staff too - very helpful and eager to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We asked them lots of questions regarding their house and they were more than happy to answer them and show us around as well. I will definitely come again.

Wonderful location (20 minute walk from the citadel). Breathtaking landscape. Very clean and comfy rooms. The garden is a true marvel (lots of flowers and fruit-trees, a gazebo, plus tables outside and a barbecue). If you don’t want to go to the restaurant, you can prepare your meals in a kitchen where you can find everything you need (coffee and tea on the house). It is quiet and peaceful.
