Perfect four-night stay in this corner of paradise. The owners provide guests with an authentic Maramures experience with all modern comforts and family touch which adds to the delicious and relaxing experience. Excellent and friendly hospitality, delicious home cooking and an array of local liquors-- plum brandy, sour cherry brandy and blackcurrant brandy are available throughout the day. There is also a wide array of wines from the well-stocked cellar and beer in the fridge. Guests help themselves. The rooms are large and comfortable and cool despite an unusual heatwave. Local tourist destinations such as the UNESCO Barsana church, the Sighet memorial for victims of communism and the Mocanita steam railway are all within an hour.
