Hotel Torontal — Hotel in Timișoara

It was quiet! I liked it the silence, maybe because was Sunday, maybe isn't was full and it was too quiet. The hotel is not located on the main street, it is behind a gas station and the traffic is relatively quiet. Big room, clean, good bedding, comfortable mattress. Big bathroom, clean, but the minus were cosmetics. My recommendation is to found some more acceptable cosmetics for the hotel rank. Apart from the rather meagre buffet breakfast (unless it's a day when they are empty and will cook to order) and a lumpy bed this is a good place to stay. Very friendly and efficient staff, don't be put off by the location behind a gas station. Good value for money, I recommend the pepper steak, and the house white wine. The restaurant tends to close at weekends, but central Timisoara is a 10 lei cab ride away and the gas station sells snacks and drinks. Some interesting international clientele passing through including Faroe islanders!...

Hotel Torontal was a nice surprise for my recent business trip to Timisorara. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The shower and bathroom were also modern. Even the TV offerings in English were more than i expected for an American viewer. The wi-fi was also good. ||The only complaint would the breakfast.
