Vila Veneto — Hotel in Timișoara

If you think you can't afford a pleasant place to stay near the city centre,you are wrong. Vila Veneto is a wonderful 3 star hotel. The great location means a 5 minute walk to the biggest shopping centre in Timi and a 15 min walk to the city centre. The hotel is very clean and tidy, the rooms are big and the air conditioning keeps it just the way you want it with no problem. The staff here is very friendly. Italian is the dominant foreign language, but some of the staff speak German and English. Our welcoming reception girl must be one of the sweetest receptionists in the whole of Timi. This area might look a bit discouraging. Parts of the street where the hotel is situated are a bit down-at-heel. Don't be misled: the hotel itself is a real find. Impeccably clean, cool marble floors punctuated by brightly coloured rugs; spacious, airy rooms, air-conditioned and some with a balcony. The breakfast is more than acceptable.||||But the main quality here is the attentiveness of the owners and their staff. They ensure that the focus of the business is the customer. Requests are dealt with promptly and with a smile. I booked our stay with booking.com, always reliable when there is a rating. This hotel is very clean, is as described. The staff is very friendly and they do their best to help you in whatever way. Sometimes English can still improve but I am sure this will change in the future because tourism is just starting, at least for people speaking English. The breakfast was allright.
