Pensiunea Edy — Hotel in Turda

I hate to give bad reviews but I never had a worse experience. Rooms were smelly, although they looked clean. They tried to ask for 700 RON extra than the initial price of the reservation, even though we had 2 adults less than first dicussed (12 adults instead of 14). When we tried to order food, they were really rude and told us to wait our turn even though everyone else already had their food. The jacuzzi was not working, so our only option was the “ciubar”. We paid for it and they prepared the fire to heat up the water in the ciubar. It was a boiling 43 degrees celsius and unusable, by the time it went down to a decent 40 degrees, it was already late and almost no one used it. Not to mention the water in it was dirty. Of course we paid an insane amount for it and did not even use it. And to top everything off, they had a birthday party scheduled that they did not tell us about, which lasted until 2 am. The music was super loud and our kids could barely sleep. When we told them about it, they had the audacity to tell us we should have closed the windows. Heeelloo, who keeps windows open at night, in March in Romania? It’s cold at night. Everything was closed and the music could be heard...

Friendly staff is the only thing I can say good about this place.Poor food choice. If you decide to order something be prepared for a Long waiting for the food which may either be under cooked or not tasty at all. Plus you are charged a full price for it even when ordering half portions or just a couple of ingredients from the dish. The bathrooms needs new showers and are full of mould. Some of the towels are older then my grandmother.The cupboards and drawers all over the room needs a proper cleaning. The carpets and bed sheets needs to be replaced as they are old and smelly. The mattresses and pillows smell disgusting. The children's play area cannot be used as the trampoline and equipment is old and broken. The sauna and Jacuzzi state is deplorable. The room has not been checked or cleaned for 4 days from the checked in time. Definitely not...

In from the states and we walked out! Worse customer service I’ve experienced since arriving in romania, read some of the other bad reviews and they are 100% spot on. Stay away if your hungry. They first asked us if we’re staying at the hotel or not, didn’t think much of it till we sat and others that were staying at the property were being waiting on and out table was being ignored. After 20-25min of not even an “hello can we service you at-least a glass of water” we walked out. Would avoid this place at all cost if your hungry. The menu also didn’t really look all that great compared to other places we’ve been. Not sure how they have a 4+ but this place in the states would be a 1-2.
