Daiana Residence — Hotel in Turda

We didn't stay in the little cabins nearby (they are adorable),but in the main hotel. There is free private parking, the lighting in the hotel is bright & it feels open & airy. The room we rented had an air-conditioner, but wasn't plugged in, and the remote was missing. The managers gave us the remote for our room upon request & we plugged in the A/C ourselves. The beds are soooooo very comfortable! Like a firmer memory foam mattress? The hosts were pleasant & very amenable. Free wifi is available throughout & password is placed everywhere (room, hallways, etc). There was a mini fridge in our room, but also, there's a common area kitchen for everyone to use if they want (on the main floor, with 2 stoves, fridges, sinks, cutlery, plates, bowls, etc). It's good place to stay for a night if you travel by car and want to visit salt mines. ||Location is pretty close to the salt mines, but we had to drive to the restaurant for dinner :)||Parking is perfect - a lot of spots.||We've got 2 rooms in the wooden house and one in the big white house. The room in the big house is new and there is a lot of space it in. The rooms in wooden houses are obviously smaller. But anyway all the rooms are comfortable. We did not have any problems, except some smell in the bathroom||You can pay by euros if you don't have local money.||Unfortunately, nobody speaks English enough to communicate...

Superb place, friendly people, clean rooms... Will definately visit again when we are in Turda.. Highly recommend... Update 3 years down the road and we landed again in this beautiful place. Ever clean,friendly staff, enough parking and good views. We came 3 years ago just the two of us but this time we came with our daughter and we just definitely were impressed. Definitely will visit again when in Turda. 100% recommend this beautiful place to anyone...
