I must tell you, it is not very often that I get the pleasure to a write a stunning review. Well, this time I get to do just that regarding Casa Vero in Romania. Do know you will have many choices along the main road to stay, but there is only One Casa Vero that is fit for Queens & Kings. First Your hosts are Wonderful in every way. They put their heart & soul into this lovely place and take the time to provide you with ideas and maps of awesome things to do. Furthermore, you get the choice of staying in a 2* or 4 * home with the same professional service. Any home you choose, you can look out your balcony and take in the beautiful tranquil mountain views with green hill side pastures, hear the cows bells off in the distance as the cows wonder up the green carpet land scape. What is most stunning about this piece of heaven, No Noise, or busy streets, just you and who you choose to be with. Wake up in the morning and the mountain greets with with a lifting fog as the morning sun breaks over the ridge. An even a bigger treat, if you like the sound of a gentle mountain stream, just open your window at night and let the gentle flow lull you to sweet dreams. The rooms are perfect with a large king size bed, the bathroom is large with a very nice hot shower and everything else you would expect in a ** hotel, I am talking about slippers, lush cotton bath robes and mountain fresh clean sheets and towels. Yes, there is room/cleaning service everyday at no additional cost. Its like when you come home in the evening you find the room exactly as the first day/moment you walked in and were given your keys. What also adds to the first class experience here, you can choose to have breakfast or dinner outdoors, or inside their beautiful dining room. Please note you must arrange your meals and preferences of time and food in advance. Do not let the sophisticated dinning room with a large fire place and pristine table cloths fool you, the food is all home made using organic/bio for every plate you choose. During my stay I had breakfast and dinner everyday for 1 week. I never had a bad meal, the service and food were just outstanding. Let it be known if you should choose to stay in this tranquil piece of Heaven, I strongly advise book early, because the word is out and the elite of Bucharest and else where are quite happy to make the trek to enjoy the best Romania...

The name originates from “casa”, which in Romanian means house, and vero which is a shorthand for Veronica, the owner and manager of the place.||||Casa Vero is placed in one of the most magnivicent Mounty parts of Romania named Bucovina. The complex “hides” about two kilometers east from the E58 road.||The air is very fresh and so are the raw extra bio products from which excellent food is made of.||||The comfort offered in the spacious exceptionally well equipped rooms is accompanied by an absolute cleanness. In fact cleanness is specific to the whole site.||We felt just at home with the warm welcome and continuing attitude of the staff. I would say this was the most wonderful Christmas holiday I experienced in my life.||||In the Christmas evening came in the wonderers “conlindatori” in the Romanian language. This is an old Romanian tradition. The sang and bless the audience and then they get paid by the audience. Then we had a great party.||||In the Christmas day we enjoyed traveling in the snowy mountains with horse sleds. We had some stops to take some hot wine and hot tuica (plum brandy). The mood went high so the traditional snowballs war started.||||Vivi, Veronica’s husband is a funny nice guy. We learned that he is an expert in chemistry offering us molecules. What a molecule is by Vivi is quite interesting. In general it is a glass of tuica (plum brandy) or palinca (double distillated plum brandy) twelve to twenty years old. After one or two shots of molecular consumption there are no social barriers between the guests and the fun dominates.||||If we are to consider the prices, well, I would say it might be one of the best and affordable deals in Romania. The pension is located in a quiet and peaceful area, approximately 2km from the main road. The surroundings​ are beautiful and provided me with the feeling of being teleported in a ​totally different environment from the daily stress I have been used to.||The accommodation is simple and elegant and everything is very clean. Each room is provided with a small refrigerator and a TV set. Also, each room has access to a large private balcony, with 2 chairs and a table, suitable for having a drink and admiring the view. The bathroom is quite large and hot water is provided 24hrs / day.||The pension has a cozy restaurant, with menu a la carte. Most of the ingredients are home made and the cook is awesome, offering a diverse range of traditional dishes. A specific thing is the fact that at breakfast you are asked to already choose what would you like to have for lunch and/or dinner.||There is a playground for kids (sliders, trampoline, playhouse, swings, etc).||Last but not least I want to mention the amability of the staff, from the owners to each and every member of the pension personnel.
