Hotel Ancor — Hotel in Voluntari

Rooms was very spacious, and was very clean.||||There was no elevator, I mean the property is next to airport, and there is no room on ground floor. Our room was on 2nd floor, and had to manually carry heavy suitcase 2 flights of stairs. So unless you are travelling light weight or have a strong back, I suggest look elsewhere. Additionally, there was no staff to help with luggage.||||First place which would not provide me hot water kettle for coffee. A big minus. ||||Bathroom was smelling bad, the lady at reception said she cannot do anything, we should switch on the exhaust, it worked, but then there was noise of exhaust all the time.||||Stayed for 1 night, saw just one staff in the entire hotel, from afternoon till next morning, the lady at the reception,...

When we did arrive at the Hotel, a car was parked in front of the entrance door, and it was hard to enter the lobby. The reception staff was doing a good job but was not smiling at all, and we did not feel welcomed. They have no lift, and our room was on the 2nd floor, therefore it was a little tricky for us after a long day to carry all the baggage on the stairs. ||||Moreover, the carpet in the room is smelly, and the room 305 was a little dirty and dusty. It was decorated with a low budget and poorly. The bathroom was not clean, and I did not felt right to take a bath there. The AC was not cleaned in months. I do not think I will go with my wife...

Clean, cosy, silent rooms.||Hospitable staff. When i asked for an iron, house-keeping helped me with ironing my shirt. Appreciated.||Dont imagine a big hotel, this one is more like a pension but comfy.||Free wi-fi||Location is not central at all however it has very easy access to the airport and Baneasa shopping center.||5 euro cab distance to the center.
