The hotel seems like it was really nice in its beginnings, but now it's just ... running.||||The pros:||- big, tall room, with lots of space and big windows;||- big comfy bed;||- good breakfast food and variety;||- big shower cabin using the whole tub;||- excellent towels - clean and soft;||- very nice shower gel and shampoo (plus all the regular accessories for shoes, sawing, etc.);||- decent prices for the mini bar;||- several (redundant) wireless access points from the hotel grounds that you can use;||- close to Starbucks, some pizza place and other shops, plus a Bierhaus in a garden on the ground floor;||- parking spaces available;||- position - North part of Bucharest, with nice neighbours (embassies, consular homes and private schools) and a short(er) ride to Pipera office area;||- total cleaning (bed done, all towels replaced, etc.) done every day (comfort).||||The cons:||- (most probably) I had an ex-smoking room and the smell is still present; it was like staying in a room full of dust;||- totally missing the attention to details (see the pictures);||- annoyingly vibrations and noise from (probably) the air conditioning unit running almost half of the time (on and off every 15-30 minutes);||- constructions running near-by;||- racing done every night in the area (good straight street);||- walls so thing you can easily hear the next-door person snoring;||- twin beds instead of king size;||- limited or no internet connection several times (very disturbing if you need to work);||- diffuse lighting system, not enough to read comfortably after sunset;||- not enough places in the breakfast area (at certain times you need to share a table with a stranger);||- very slow coffee machine (you can fill in your plate while a single coffee is prepared), with a small water tank (needs attention from the supervisor);||- position - North part of Bucharest, with not much to do on a 10 miles radius;||- total cleaning (bed done, all towels replaced, etc.) done every day (ecology).||||As a conclusion, the place has great potential but there are still things to improve for sleep quality and...
Read moreMe and my family stayed for 4 nights. We were two adults and 3 children and therefore booked one double room and one "so called" apartment. To my surprise there was no tea/coffee making facility in either the double room or the apartment. The apartment should have had this along with a microwave and some crockery, but there wasn't. I requested for a kettle so that I can make some tea and I was told that it wasn't available. I was kind of turned off considering that this was a 4 star hotel.||||The breakfast was ok, not too good and not too bad.||||As a location, it is on the outskirts of Bucharest, so if you are planning to see the city then this may not be for you. There is a small mall next door with some good restaurants and also Starbucks and a slightly bigger mall down the road. International schools are nearby. This is an area where mostly the expats live who are working in Bucharest. Also the Zoo is nearby at 4 to 5 minutes drive.||||The staff, except for one lady at reception, were helpful and courteous.||||Parking space is not a problem because of lot of parking space at the small mall next door.||||The TV is the apartment was a smart tv, so my children were able to watch Netflix and youtube. However, the TV in the double room was not smart and there I couldn't watch these things.||||Wifi Internet is free but was lousy.||||Checkin time was 2pm, but the hotel allowed us early checkin. I requested for late check out (2 hrs), but never got a feedback if this was ok or not, therefore I checkout...

The microwave didn't have a plate and when turned on sparks started flying.O cokld go on and on.Lady at breakfast was amazing and housecleaning...
