Cabana Dianthus — Hotel in Zona Metropolitană Brașov

I spent a weekend here together with a larger group for work related events. The location is wonderful, the scenery is very pretty and there is a calming silence that you can’t find anywhere in the city. The place is very spacious, with plenty of rooms on different floors. The rooms are beautiful and cozy, with a rustic feeling everywhere due to wood being used in building the chalet. The rooms are very clean and spacious. I shared a triple room with my 2 other colleagues (a king size bed and a single bed) and we were very pleased with this room. The sheets and pillows and blankets are very comfortable, the tv in the room was very useful and we listened to nice music. The bathroom is also spacious and has a cute little window, which was nice. The hot water at any time of the day was a plus. The shower cabin is well made and the doors are closing perfectly to not let any water get on the bathroom floor (which was another plus). The staff is very friendly and welcoming and accommodating. I’m a raw vegan so I don’t eat animal products and cooked foods. They prepared a wonderful raw vegan salad for me for every meal, which was so good, because not every place I go actually understands that I prefer my salads to be very simple, without adding oil or salt or vinegar. I especially liked the open Swedish buffet for breakfast every morning, because they offered a lot of options and many of them were raw vegan (tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, nuts, seeds, raisins, dates, bananas, tangerines). If you want to hike on Piatra Craiului or just to relax nearby, Dianthus is the perfect place to stay overnight or to spend your holiday. The mountain view from this location is spectacular!||You can get here easily, after a 10 minutes’ drive from Zarnesti, the closest city.||The rooms are spacious, clean and the sunlight (plus the moonlight overnight 😊 ) lighten the space through the big windows. The rooms and the restaurant are decorated with handmade objects, in a very creative manner.||There is a small playground just outside, children can spend some time here, while the parents relax outside, enjoying the mountain view, the forest and the river’s sound, which is crossing the yard.||The owners are friendly people, always willing to help and to give info/details regarding the mountain trails.||This is definitely a place to remember and...

Beautiful landscape, quiet and relaxing place. The guesthouse is a few feet away from the forest(so you can gather wood for your barbecue) as well as a river(in which you can cool your beers). Rooms are simple and decent, nothing to stand out. The only downside may be that you don't have access to a fridge at any time you want. The hosts are kind enough to let you put the meat and other stuff in their fridge but if you want to do a barbecue late, make sure you tell them a few hours before. They might go to sleep or be away.
