No table decorations for you!

Overall, my experience at Pensiunea Cehov was not very positive. Although the location was convenient and the property appeared to be well-maintained, I encountered several issues during my stay that left me feeling disappointed.

Firstly, the service provided by the staff was subpar. The staff seemed disinterested in their guests and didn't go out of their way to make us feel welcome.

Secondly, we were given the choice of paying for a New Year's Eve two course dinner, which we opted of not having, not because of the price, but because of our food preferences.

To our surprise, our dinner table where we sat, was the only one not having any table arrangements/decorations and by that no table cloth, no dishes, nothing, bare wooden table, as we were the only one not serving dinner. We felt honestly offended and unwelcomed by this gesture, like it was a sort of the host telling us "you haven't paid for dinner, you deserve to be reminded of that !!!".

Lastly the exorbitant price charged per night.

While the property's location was convenient, the host's attitude left a lot to be desired.

Very nice hosts, helpful without being too intrusive.||Good place too spend time for children, and excellent to use as a base for sportive activities for group of friends.
