Hotel închis — Hotel in Zona Metropolitană Brașov

This is not a 4 * hotel. ||- They are short on staff ||- Lift not working for a while (worth asking before if you are disable). ||-After a while the bathroom vent didn't stop and the noise was annoying. ||- The fitness room is a joke, they have one dumbell, one bench and another running machine. ||- The jacuzzi was not working but they said the price will stay the same even we paid 50 lei to another hotel to use their one. ||- The kitchen was only for breakfast, we had to go out for lunch and dinner because they didn't serve it even that they had menus. (I think they had only 3 rooms occupied and didn't worth for them). ||- The heating was on maximum, (maybe to hide the mould) we couldn't lower it and because of that my nose was bleeding. (asked them to fix it but no one came to sort it out.) ||- The TV is small and the quality is poor. ||- Low internet speed.(top floor doesn't even get signal, luckily I have unlimited Internet.)||- They did not came to clean the room, not even to change the bin bags that were full. (It didn't bother me to go and throw the rubbish but this is something that should be included into a 4* |hotel.) ||- There is space for few cars outside but no one is responsible if someone steal or scratch your car. (better park on the road) ||Anyway, maybe there are more good things and bad things to say but you will find out when you get here. 😅|||I will do my research properly next time. ||The view was nice, some of the staff were friendly. ||Also the manager (Dragoș Sonica) was not bothered to much about...

The only good thing about this hotel is the view (it is absolutely breathtaking). This is not a 4 star hotel by any standards. The fact that they acquired 4 stars from some public entity (I imagine) is deeply disturbing, because this means that they are allowed to charge more. I think that this situation should be the object of some sort of quality control as this has implications on both the area and the customers that expect 4 star services. The persons from the reception area were pleasant and polite but this is not enough for charging 650 RON for 2 nights.

The problems that I have encountered here are the following: damage furniture (armchair); the lady from the reception couldn't find the key of my room's security box; I have asked for a bottle of water in the minibar (that was missing when I arrived) that never arrived; the waiter from the hotel's restaurant was preparing my order (2 glasses of wine and an aubergines salad) after 45 minutes - considering the fact that my order was very simple and I have politely asked him a few times about my order when I noticed that people that arrived in the restaurant after me received their food before me.

All in all, if you plan to stay at this hotel you are paying...
