We booked the apartment 214 with a very spacious bedroom and a nice living room. In the bedroom there is one nice comfy bed, TV kind of small for the room, electric chimney, a desk, coffee table and unfortunately there is a mobile air conditioner which is fitted instead of wall mounted so is very loud. In the living room a couch another TV, desk, minibar. The room has also an safe, hair dryer, sleepers, etc. In the bathroom you will find a bubble bath and all necessary materials. The down sides are the poor cleaning we have found when we checked in (no vacuuming whatsoever, one bottle of beer from previous clients, a lot of dust on the carpet that we actually seen it without looking for problems) some issues regarding technical state of the door between rooms and another technical problem with bathroom lateral cover. Now on the up side we had clean sheets, towels etc on a daily basis, the food and services in the restaurant are maybe the best at the moment in Predeal (there is one young lad at the restaurant Eduard who is picking up the name of this hotel). Also the prices at restaurant are really good and the breakfast is more than enough. The staff demonstrated unprofessional and unfriendly conduct. Securing a table for our party of ten required repeated requests to four different staff members, and even then, the assigned table was unclean, requiring on-site, unprofessional cleaning that resulted in food debris being scattered on the floor and our persons. Furthermore, the inadequate provision of only four glasses necessitated additional requests to multiple staff members who ignored us before assistance was finally received. Adding to the unpleasant experience, the cutlery provided was visibly soiled. The food quality was equally unacceptable; the schnitzel was served cold, and a portion of the French fries were undercooked. Read moreBooked the room by mistake (misunderstood the location after talking with friends over the phone), after trying to cancel it, booking.com told us that if we explain to the hotel the reason they will consider to cancel the booking. 10 minutes after booking the room we arrived at the hotel and spoke to the receptionists. We explained the reason and that we have done a mistake, but they refused to cancel it. They didn’t even want to consider so they printed us some policy papers. We decided to stay over night as we have already paid for the room. We paid for a room with mountain view and balcony, however there was no such thing! No balcony and the view from the window was pointing Into their cleaning facilities and other building, barely we could see the mountain.
