Monterai Resort — Hotel in Zona Metropolitană Brașov

|When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist scolded us for the fact that we arrived late, in her opinion. It did not matter that I twice indicated the time of arrival, when booking and on the phone, one way or another she was annoyed and unhappy. We got the keys and settled in room 111, spacious, but worn out and even without a minibar. On one of the towels, in the bathroom, there was a stain. The furniture in the room looked worn. The breakfast was rather poor, in the first morning. On the second day, on January 1, there was no breakfast at all, although it was included in the room price. We were forced to settle for a couple of sandwiches, no coffee...

I visited the complex with couple of friends. We were impressed. The suites were big, well furnished and clean (there were 3 suites in our villa), the staff is friendly and the view is just wonderful.||There was no kitchen in our villa (I guess the other villas has one neither) so you can't cook. But the food in the restaurant is nice.||If you have a car (the hotel has a parking lot) don't miss to visit the town of Brasov. It's just 15 km away and the old city center is really beautiful. If you have time you can visit also Dracula's castle in Bran, it's not...

This hotel is located in a very popular location in the Carpathians mountains. The cabins are spacious but quite dated. The service is spotty and at times non-existent. People are nice but are not trained to the standards expected in the hospitality industry. Food is decent, but nothing to brag about.||However, if you need to spend some time in this beautiful location and do not want to spend a lot of money, this place will offer you a spaciuous, clean room.
